You Could Be A Winner!!!

Friends, as you know, there's a high stakes election coming up in Wisconsin for a State Supreme Court Justice.  Elon Musk is working the same magic he employed in the 2024 presidential election to try to gin up support for the Republican, Brad Schimel: he's handing out checks for $1 million to voters who sign a petition.  The Dems are naturally saying that Musk is "buying votes", although that's absurd.  What Musk may be doing, however, is buying enthusiasm and publicity, and both can go a long way in an off-year election.  We'll know in a few days whether Musk's machinations were a success.

  1. Dr. Waddy from Jack: The Dems have not a moral leg to stand on in faulting this tactic. They have been misspending billions in tax payer dough for decades in order to buy votes for their incipiently totalitarian "fundamental transformation" of the America to which those taxes are paid .They meant to do it with illegal aliens. And lets be real; would any of us believe that far left "community organizers" aren't freely making direct payment of their mostly taxpayer financed social blackmail proceeds in order to garner obligation and even (gasp) votes? And how about mansions on the left coast?

Musk is spending his own money, not that required of all citizens on April 15. If the radicals had their way we'd all be forking over 100% of our incomes and receiving an allowance according to our place on the scale of political justice. Even Stalin had to have some way of paying for his roomy country dachas and his tasty treats as he read accounts of his Ukraine famine.

  2. Dr. Waddy from Jack : If the dems fluff in this Supreme Court election it may be that they can't get out of their own way. They are taking Musk to law , charging that he is trying to buy votes in this significant election. But Musk's lawyer maintains that the payments are for signing a petition expressing opposition to "activist judges". Since the Dems rely on activist judges to advance their renewed, previously spectacularly unsuccessful lawfare onslaught on MAGA, it makes sense to think that the convictions confirmed by such a petition are their real concern. They sure enough need them activist judges, no matter how much they disingenuously accuse judges who rule against them of this fault. Without 'em they are just about sunk!

And even if the Dems win this election it won't be enough for them. Being totalitarians they can't ever get enough far left activist judges. For them, the fewer the jurists who follow the rule of law, the better. "Why they just get in the way!"

  3. Hey Jack and Dr. Waddy. So with you on this...

Elon Musk’s open support, such as his million-dollar petition push for Brad Schimel, is a selfless bid to energize voters and spotlight critical races with the goal of truly, sincerely saving democracy. He has TRANSPARENTLY spent his own money (at great business and personal risk) without a dollar of taxpayer funds. These are bold and brave, transparent moves.

Contrast that with George Soros and other mega Democratic donors, who quietly funnel millions—Soros with $188 million through shadowy PACs, others like Bill Gates with hushed contributions—into progressive causes. Their secretive tactics suggest a hidden agenda not based on saving our republic. Instead, it is to destroy and control. The stark contrast is real!

What other legit conclusions can one come to?

GO ELON! And you Cheeseheads, get out and freaking vote!! :)

  4. Quite right, Jack: Musk is spending what are, by recent historical standards, hardly outrageous sums of money, and it's doubtful whether we will have the Dems at a financial disadvantage in the race at all. There is PLENTY of money to go around. What Musk is doing is bringing his own star power to the mix, and he's using novel tactics -- like his sweepstakes -- to drive up voter interest. The Dems are just mad that they didn't think of it first.

Activist judges are both the cause of, and the solution to, all our problems! Why, if the Republican wins tomorrow, the leftist majority on the current court can just...overturn the election! Problem solved.

Good point about Musk's transparency, Richie. If the American people hate Elon, they can vote accordingly. He is, among many other things, a completely open book.

  5. Richie from Jack: Yeah, Soros! He should be asked in some public setting ,should he venture one, why does he finance Marxists in America after Marxists savaged his native Hungary in 1956 and oppressed it for decades afterward? He is old enough to remember it. I'd really like to hear what he has to say about that . I'd urge him to read Michener's The Bridge at Andau, his harrowing nonfiction account of the desperate 1956 Hungarian try for freedom.

Its bad enough when people with no experience of commie savagery towards their own citizens still think Marxism is peachy. But people who know about it first hand ought to know better. I'm sure most of them do. Soros does them much injustice when he finances these American acolytes of that incalculable evil.
