2020's "Eminence Grise"?

Friends, this week's Newsmaker Show reflects on the question of the hour: was Donald Trump cheated out of victory in 2020, and, if so, can anyone prove it?  We explore some of the most popular theories: rogue voting machines, big city ballot dumps, and, of course, bogus mail-in votes.  If the acceptance of technically, legally invalid mail-in votes was indeed the deciding factor this year -- and there's a good case for that assumption -- then we could further argue that it was all those nice, smiling people down at the Board of Elections who cinched it for Biden.  These colorless functionaries are the sort who we don't normally give much thought to, but, in a close election, their allegiances begin to loom large!  Anyway, I give my perspective on how likely it is that we Trumpers will prevail in the courts, or in the court of public opinion.  We know where the mainstream media stands, of course: elections are sacrosanct, assuming Democrats win them...

In addition, Brian and I explore the question of what a Biden administration would look like, and how many of its socialist schemes would come to fruition (not many).  Then, in our "This Day in History" segment, Brian and I tackle the mass suicide at Jonestown in 1978 and the historical legacy of the Iran-Contra Scandal.  In both cases, uh, mistakes were made...

Tune in, why don't ya?

  1. Dr.Waddy from Jack: I waited to comment until after Guiliani's press conference. It was electrifying. He presented credible evidence, gave promise of much more in court and asserted plausible interpretation of the evidence. He was especially effective in treating the MSM with the contempt it deserves; the MSM shamed itself with its punkish comments afterward on line. "Bizarre", "My Cousin Vinny" etc. Guiliani is a great man; his monumental accomplishments need no elaboration and MSM cheap shots serve only to advance it's increasingly comic perception by the public!

  2. Jack, I appreciate this comment very much! I didn't see the press conference, but if you thought the material presented was credible and intriguing, that means a great deal to me. It's clear that, no matter how much evidence the Trump team presents, there MSM will say there is "none". In my view, the statistical case and the case in terms of witness statements is already accumulating. I continue to be skeptical of a massive conspiracy or of voting machine manipulation, but if anything along those lines happened then it will surely take time and a lot of federal prosecutorial firepower to uncover it. What's the rush? In the meantime, let's pursue the mail-in ballot question vigorously.

  3. Dr.Waddy from Jack: Thanx! Looks like that is what Guiliani is doing though it does look like he is putting much evidence on proving conspiracy. It may be that in doing this, with its interstate aspect, he is working up his Federal case.

  4. With all due respect, Guiliani is about to drive me nuts. I think Sidney Powell ought to be in charge. I sure don't want to mess with that woman, grin.

  5. Jack, it's interesting that Giuliani is so adamant there was an interstate conspiracy to steal the election. I hope, as a loyal Trump devotee, that he's right, because if he is it should be possible to unwind the conspiracy and thus expose and destroy it. The more people who are involved in a conspiracy, the easier it is to infiltrate...

Linda, I'm sure you noticed that the Trump legal team has disowned Sidney Powell...and Tucker seems none too impressed with her either. Personally, I don't much care who the president's lawyers are, or whether or not they dye their hair. If this election was stolen, then I await positive proof...of the sort that will sway honest judges and state legislators. That's where the rubber meets the road. Of course, I'm assuming we have "honest" judges and state legislators, of a mind to give Donald Trump the benefit of the doubt. In this assumption I may be way off base.
