Nothing to See Here

Friends, yesterday, Lee Zeldin, the Republican candidate for Governor of New York, was attacked by a man at a campaign rally.  The assailant tried to stab (and kill?) Zeldin, and today, the mainstream media is hard at work...burying the story.  Maybe, just maybe, if the attacker had succeeded, and had brandished Zeldin's severed head for the cameras, CNN and MSNBC would have covered the incident.  I mean, a severed head is always good for ratings...  But a mere life-threatening attack, presumptively perpetrated by a leftist who hated Zeldin?  Nah, that's not news.  It doesn't fit the narrative.  What narrative am I referring to?  The one that says that "right-wingers" are dangerous, violent, and hate-filled, while leftists are sweet as pie.  The hypocrisy here, given the media's incessant caterwauling about January 6th, which in the vast majority of instances amounted to trespassing at worst, is palpable.  Oh well.  We're used to it.

In other news, the economy is performing...worse than expected, and expectations were already pretty glum.  Recession, here we come!

  1. Dr.Waddy from Jack: I'm tempted to say "why waste time and breath citing once again the proven reality of American leftist, MSM supported, bigotry in its unrelenting onslaught on any who disagree with it?Lee Zeldin disagrees with it and is consequently guaranteed leftist excoriation both by omission and commission". But no; you do signal service noting it, as we MUST do faithfully and constantly until we have completely disempowered these obviously totalitarian far leftists (though I should say now "mainstream" American leftists,as it were). The very radical left is now the very mainstream of America's "liberal" rump and its now dominant baldly neoMarxist presidium!

  2. Dr.Waddy from Jack: The NY Governor's race is shaping up as a very interesting confrontation. Gov. Hochul has, since her empowerment, displayed an enthusiastically consistent leftist determination .Could it be she does so to gain election after which she would revert to her common sense roots? Can we chance this? She may assume her election guaranteed, thanx to NYC, for which she has demonstrated in office, obsequious regard. Best that we assume that is her real self!

  3. Dr.Waddy from Jack: But Lee Zeldin has now been handed a personally experienced demonstration of NY's criminal loving recent reforms. For him and his present supporters it but lent strength to their expressed conviction that NY's recent criminal law reforms but promote criminal celebratory riot and resultant anarchy!! Lee should pound this message home to beleagured lawful NYC: "your do nothing Mayor has nothing but platitudes for you while he luxuriates in the perks of office! That's all. Why?Because NYC almost certainly determines who will 'rule' us in common sense upstate NY state and in your metropolis! Please, consider joining with us in November!

  4. Jack, I was heartened to see that federal charges have been leveled against the attacker of Lee Zeldin. I'm not sure who made that decision -- a U.S. attorney? -- but if the DOJ had any role in it they are to be praised!

Does Zeldin have a prayer in November? I'd like to think so. The crime wave and the Dems' failure to confront it certainly gives him an opening. No one thought Pataki had a chance, and he served for three terms. All things are possible.

  5. Dr.Waddy from Jack: Gads, imagine being the Town Justice in Perinton, NY(?) tasked with arraigning a suspect who may have attacked a GubernatoriaI candidate and Congressman! We must presume that, forced by NY's criminal loving laws, that Town Judge had to release this miscreant. The attacker's now enforced Federal charges are probably politically motivated by dem powers because the 2022 midterms draw near and a Republican governor in NY of all places would be a n enervating rebuke and a blow to their 2024 hopes.

  6. Dr.Waddy from Jack: This is a good place to justify my observation of "criminal loving NY state "or NY contained ( mostly of course in NYC government) CONVICTION that criminals are victims of society and that especially the "smuggly law abiding" are deserving of criminal predation and excuse for ciminal outrages. As a twenty year employee of the NY State Dept. of "Correctional Services I knew and reported to unelected NY bureaucrats who displayed this view openly! How many of their counterintuitive ilk yet persist in NY's criminal justice establishment!? Cuomo was famously entranced by a sit down meeting with "the guys" in a maximum security NY prison. I mean, they didn't rend him asunder;why they were pretty personable! Foo balls! Every Corrections employee has had that experience and has been cured by REAL experience of criminal behaviorwhy, even in incarceration itself!

  7. Dr.Waddy from Jack: But the criminal lovers high in centralized decision and policy making positions display only contempt for those with day to day experience of criminal behavior (eg. police and corrections prison officers, who disagree with them, as most do. )They consider themselves above such "unenlightened" primitives. How easily direct experience would disabuse them but they lack the humility and objectivity to countenance this!

  8. Dr. Waddy from Jack: it is a waste of time and effort to attempt to dissuade people of criminal loving persuasion in government! All our effort must be directed to politically discrediting and disempowering them. They recognize and exemplify FORCE, only, either political or corporal as that which will defeat them! Depend on it!

  9. Dr.Waddy from Jack: The American left, which is demonstrably ready to concentrate all manner of force, including corporal, physical persuasion, has fervently endorsed it, both historically, verbally and with its tactics from 2020 on. The real America endorses political mobilization and democratic decision making and is not defined by counterintuitive undemocratic intimidation.

  10. Jack, there's little doubt in my mind that most leftists believe that we conservatives DESERVE to be victimized by violence. I mean, our rhetoric is "violence" in itself! We do "violence" to truth, justice, and the American way each and every day. Thus, we invite retribution on ourselves. Be that as it may, you're right that the DOJ must have decided it would be prudent to give a nod in the direction of the rule of law and to defer the declaration of OPEN SEASON ON REPUBLICANS until after the one-party state is secure. Very big of them.
