Friends, my latest article appears in The Federalist, which is definitely a feather in my cap. It's about a little-known bill that's making its way through Congress, which could -- could -- be a Trojan Horse for future vaccine mandates. Keep an eye on it! Eternal vigilance is the price of freedom, lest we forget.
In other news, we're still learning the details, but your favorite President Donald J. Trump has just been indicted by a grand jury on the benighted island of Manhattan. I guess all the brave talk about Alvin Bragg's case falling apart came to naught. On the contrary, a leftist grand jury really will indict a ham sandwich, or, in this case, a former president. Take my word for it -- there's a lot more adversarial prosecution to come. In fact, don't be surprised if you and I get indicted, by and by!

ReplyDeleteI suspect that some of the other GOP candidates for President are secretly delighted in Trump's indictment, and hope that he will be convicted so he can't run against them. They should also know that the left will come after them also, eventually, or sooner than they expect.
Dr.Waddy from Jack: NY state has shamed itself before the country beyond measure by enabling a partisan indictment of a President by a silly apologist for true criminals!
ReplyDeleteOne of these days, God, in the twinkling of an eye, is going to shrink New York City to the size of a small candy bar and throw it in the Atlantic Ocean.
ReplyDeleteWhat if Trump is raptured before or during the trial?
ReplyDeleteIs Trump's indictment and whatever follows the beginning of the Tribulation? If so, will the trial last for 7 years, after which Jesus will return and appoint Mike Pence as His Deputy to rule the earth for 1000 years? Is the NYC DA kind of an AntiChrist? Will China and Russia invade Syria in a Battle of Armageddon? What will DaSaintus do during this time? Will the Trump trial jury be influenced by left wing demons? How much longer do a majority of team normal Americans have to put up with this political theater bullshit?
ReplyDeleteRay, I'm sure you're right: many Republicans are delighted at the Trump indictment, because they loathe Trump just as much as the Dems (maybe more, because they're jealous of him). The problem for the Trump haters is that an indictment is as likely to strengthen Trump as weaken him. As I've said before, though, all this prosecuting may be more about weighing Trump down than it is about convicting and jailing him. And, if that is the goal, the more indictments, the better!
ReplyDeleteRay, I hear the Manhattan DA has a sealed indictment against you too. Something about a mattress tag back in 1964... I doubt you'll do more than five years for it, though.
Jack, thankfully, NYS didn't have much to do with this particular indictment, but fear not -- Letitia James is on the case (a completely different case, but no doubt it's equally contrived)!
Ray, the rapture would solve a lot of Trump's problems, to be sure, but then again do any of us want to go to a heaven that would admit Trump? I jest, but honestly I hope the bar for justification really is set at the low setting of "faith, not works", because otherwise I might find myself broiling uncomfortably.

DeleteWhat bothers me the most is not that Trump might not be the next president, again, but that what is being done to him is wrong, wrong, and wrong! Alan Dershowitz says he has never seen anything like this in his 60 years of law practice.
Dr. Waddy et al from Jack: Apology for crime, the view that criminals are victims, is just the wokeists' cup of tea. Its "justice" to them and when they administer the law, they force it on us..Slick Willie, a true criminal,a very possibly capital criminal, never was taken to legal task as is President Trump. Predictably soaring crime rates, never more obvious than in cities mismanaged by dems: are now put to glaring contrast with this purely partisan, counterintuitive miscarriage of law by the woke . And this time nationwide resentment of New Yawkish dem disdain for the real America is thereby mobilized and may well be a major factor in the 2024 election.
ReplyDeleteRay, keep in mind that Alan Dershowitz's job is (basically) to tell conservatives what they want to hear, but he may well be right that this is prosecutorial misconduct on an epic scale. Then again, justice was never blind, and Trump won't be the first man to be charged by a prosecutor who hates him. My take is that all this was entirely predictable. Trump chose to leave office, despite the fact that he must have known the Left would never stop gunning for him. He should have clung on for dear life, not just for his own sake, but for the country's. Bottom line: for all his bluster, he's put his fate in the hands of people who despise him, and thus his undoing was inevitable. I don't know if he'll go to prison, but I'm close to 100% certain that the powers-that-be will never let him be president again.
ReplyDeleteJack, "nationwide resentment" did not rouse itself when the Dems perpetrated the Trump-Russia hoax and impeached the sitting president twice for no good reason. Sadly, I doubt it will in this case either. Just once I'd like to see the Left held accountable for its outrages. I'm still waiting...
