Greetings from Trump Country!

Friends, I have (perhaps predictably) fled the terrors of the Empire State to find refuge in Trumpland: Florida, more specifically.  Will I be safe here from Bidenism/Marxism?  That's unsure, but we know for a fact that I'll be warm.  So far, in fact, daily highs have been in the 80s!  Most satisfactory.  I'll try to keep up with my blogging, article-writing, etc., but you'll forgive me, I'm sure, if I get distracted by the occasional shuffleboard game or wet t-shirt contest (I win a lot of shuffleboard, and I look awesome in a wet t-shirt).

I see things are coming to a head in D.C.  We may not have the votes in Congress, but I say we have nothing to lose by going out with a (metaphorical) bang: we should make our case, loudly and often, that there were irregularities in the 2020 election that render Biden's "win" suspect, at best, and fraudulent, at worst.  There will be RINOs who welcome Biden and Harris to D.C. and promise to work with them, as well as Pelosi and Schumer.  Well, you and I are not among those RINOs, and we hope and pray that the Dems fall flat on their faces, and the sooner the better.  One has to wonder, though: regardless of how disastrous Biden's reign may prove to be, will the media report on it?  Does reality even matter anymore, as far as they're concerned?  We're about to find out.

Please don't forget to support Perdue and Loeffler in Georgia.  I get so many fundraising appeals from those two that I'm almost starting to root for their Bolshevik opponents.  Almost, but not quite.  The fact is, we need to hold on to our majority in the Senate.  Doing so will make the entrenchment of leftist rule far harder.

  1. Yes, Trump picked up counties (often narrowly) which people actually live.

Perdue and Loeffler should serve time for insider trading.

  2. Have you moved there perm. Dr. Waddy? (I am awaiting news you got a teaching job there somewhere, grin). I do have to say, I am a tad bit jealous ---not for the warmth (we all know I love winter) but for the escape from King Cuomo land. HA on the thought of the wet t shirt, thanks for the grin and now I can not have that thought escape my head, LOLOL. In all seriousness, enjoy your stay. Say hello to the ocean for me, smiles.

P.S. I think we are beyond reality now, don't you? grin

  4. I think Rod just admitted that "people" voted for Trump. Yes, Trumpers are people too! We accept the compliment.

Linda -- no, sadly I'll have to return to Cuomoland soon. In terms of masking, etc., I'm not sure there's a HUGE difference between here and there, but it is nice to be outdoors more, where one feels a little freer.

Ray, true: DC gives "swamps" a bad name, undeservedly.
