Friends, as our lefty friends work hard to coalesce around Comrade Biden -- the media, social media, Hollywood, higher ed, etc. all marching forward joyously in lockstep -- they are also purging mainstream discourse of competing narratives and gross malefactors like you and me. Well, I must say, it ain't fun to be purged, but it's nice that the Left is finally showing its cards and making a virtue out of its own intolerance. Never again will anyone make the mistake of assuming that progressives are "open-minded"!
While this Great Purge unfolds among leftists and media and social media bigwigs, there's a parallel purge -- a self-purge, by and large -- happening on the right. Never Trumpers and RINOs are gradually divorcing themselves from the Republican Party. Many of them voted for Biden, in fact! Now, you might think the GOP would be doomed if it starts "eating its own". The truth, though, is that Trump may have repelled many squishy-soft "conservatives", but he brought millions of new populists and nationalists into the party, most of them not brie-eating millionaires, but ordinary Americans. The truth is that the Republican Party DOES have a problem. It will need to reconcile those who love and hate Trump to some degree. Nevertheless, the Cindy McCains of this world are not people we need on our side to win. What we're seeing, then, is an ideological realignment of BOTH parties. The GOP is becoming more populist and nationalist, as I said, and the Dems are becoming more elitist, corporatist, globalist, and "woke". By no means does this transformation doom our movement.

And here's the latest on the inquisition in the Senate against Senators Cruz and Hawley, who are being cast as "insurrectionists" because they dared to bring Biden's electoral college "win" into question. This ethics investigation in unlikely to go anywhere, especially with Susan Collins scoffing at it. In fact, it may put wind in Cruz's and Hawley's sails. Both of them are looking like strong contenders in 2024.

ReplyDeleteI wanted to run this past you, but speaking of purges, don't you think it would be appropriate for the U.S. Military to start having Political Commissars? Apparently it worked for the Soviets, so why not now? It's clearly time for our Armed Forces to be indoctrinated in the New Socialist ideology, don't you think? This would necessitate new uniforms and ranks, but why not? Also, it would employ so many people in factories who could produce these new uniforms. Also, we need neighborhood Commissars don't you think. Certainly a network of informants in communities across American would ensure a successful transition to State Socialism. Finally, there is the probably need for re-education camps. North Dakota could certainly accommodate them, I would think.

Under our new Socialist regime here at home, do you think we can mobilize our people to participate in these mass gymnastic events? I mean, most of our people don't look like this, do they? Fat seems to be the in thing now, and tattoos are essential, along with nose rings and ear rings. But I think it can still be done, the mass gymnastic events that it.
All of my convoluted "humor" aside, what is needed now is not Socialism or any other ideology as such. The times we live in demand WADDYISM!

ReplyDeleteCommissars? I think we already have them in most institutions, but they don't yet have ranks, titles (as such), and uniforms. All that will come with time. I think each commissar should get a limo and driver too. That adds to the mystique. Probably all cars will soon be Chinese-made battery-powered econoboxes, though. Not much mystique there. Still better than a Mercury Mystique, though.
Dr. From Jack: I can speak from experience of a leftist attempted takeover of a law enforcement agency. I speak of the NY State Corrections Dep't after the Cuomo takeover,which was invested by leftist criminal loving activists. They sent cadre (as did the Red Chinese after their take charge post "revolution" period ),determined to empower criminals. I saw that first hand!
