Pandemic Mythology

Friends, COVID-19 is real.  So, however, are a lot of other threats to our health and well-being.  My latest article exposes a critical truth that the media is successfully concealing: the pandemic's impact on overall mortality, once frightful, is now negligible.  That's right: we're panicking and turning our lives upside down over a disease that, when sensibly managed, kills no more people than would die otherwise.  Think that over...and ask yourself why the mainstream media is stoking fear.  They have much to gain from it, and so does Joe Biden, their Great White Hope.

Check out my article at WND:

  1. It should be crystal clear by now that this so called pandemic is being used to try to discredit Trump (which will probably fail), but more important to The Left is to have the power to control the masses. In this, The "Democrats" have been very successful using the propaganda arms of the party: academia, the news media,
and the film industry. The recent demonstrations and riots are used to instill fear in the opposition, in this case The Right. Do what we say or we will hurt you. Organizations such as Antifa serve the needs of The Party as the militant arm. This is the way The Left has already operated, so this is nothing new, but it is getting worse. Marx's Communist Manifesto of 1848 has come home to roost, here in these United States of America.

  2. The big questions now are how long this virus situation will go on. As long as politically necessary? Probably. How long will the demonstrations go on. As long as politically necessary? Are there going to be Party Conventions and Presidential debates? Is voting by mail a roundabout way of sabotaging the election? All this should be answered by November 2020. And if Biden wins, how long before the virus is no longer such a big issue? And how long before the demonstrations dry up? How long before we are buddies with China again? Biden needs to be a hero if he gets elected, and these things like virus and violence disappearing will look like some sort of miracle, by Joe Biden of course. How many more Republicans are going to turn against Trump to jump on the Democrat Express?

  3. The power that COVID-19 has given to State Governors reminds me of those Fuhrer Directives Hitler issued during World War II. Of course those orders were mostly about military and related issues. And of course Hitler was an absolute dictator. Perhaps a poor comparison, but I bet some of these governors would love to have the same power Hitler had, especially those on The Left. Or better yet, they would probably like the same power "Uncle Joe" Stalin had in the Soviet Union for 25 years. Don't we have someone named Joe running for President now?

  4. In the almost final analysis, I suspect that our entire country (to include both of our "ruling" political parties) have been infected far more by a serious DISINFORMATION campaign skillfully orchestrated from Moscow and Beijing, than COVID-19. Now there is a thought, a future U.S. divided between Russia (east of the Mississippi), and China (west of the Mississippi). Wonder how those two powers would react to demonstrations by Antifa and BLM?

  5. So, what would John Wayne think about all of this b******t if he were still around? Would Biden call him a "Lying Dog Faced Pony Soldier"?

  6. COVID-19 looks more like a name for a Special Commando unit than a virus.

  7. What happens if "The Squad" in Congress gets THEE virus and dies? Will they lie in state in the Rotunda? Will Nancy Pelosi mourn them?

  8. I wonder what H.G. Wells would think if he returned today? Would he immediately request to return to the grave? Wells showed history for what it really is, science fiction. Maybe what's happening in today's world would fit right in with Wells' novels.

  9. Out on The Great Plains where I live, the virus situation seems to get better, and then all of a sudden The Governor (a "Democrat") re issues orders to wear masks in all public places again, and then things get better, and loosen up, and then it's back to masks and extra precautions again. In other words the game just keeps going on and on, with no end in sight. All this on the advice of The Public Health Service of whatever county you happen to live in. And the beat goes on and on. Makes you wonder who is on the phone with who and number crunching cases to fit political agendas.

  10. Ray is right: the leftists succeed by hitting us with a one-two punch. Actually it is way more complicated than that. They play on all the emotions: fear, envy, love, hate, you name it. They also twist the "facts" into a quasi-rational case for Marxism and America-hating. Since they control so many of our key institutions, they can afford to use a multi-pronged strategy, and they can afford to test the limits of democracy and morality too, because they know that they will never be held accountable for excesses.

I too wonder if President Biden (ick!) would be permitted to "slay" the virus once and for all. Why not? He might also be permitted to die of it, so his younger (and less white) V.P. could assume the throne.

You're absolutely right that many Governors are behaving like dictators. All too often the courts are letting them get away with exceeding their authority, too.

Ray, what "The Duke" would make of the state of this country today I choose not to contemplate. How sad that we've turned out backs on such a great patriot.

  11. HAPPY JULY 4TH FOLKS! Don't worry about anything. If the virus doesn't kill you, the Clintonistas, The Obamalistas, and the Bidenistas will. Enjoy this 4th, because if Biden wins this election, next year the 4th could be banned as a "White Man's Holiday" and Juneteenth might replace it. This will be celebrated by burning Mount Vernon and Monticello to the ground.

  12. Dr. Waddy and Ray: We must assume Biden's running mate will become President; its very probable. The Dems see hapless Joe, as simply a stalking horse for a radical, for the enthronement of whom he would certainly resign, having done his duty and having had the thrill of being elected President, at an opportune moment ordained by his handlers. Should he foolishly fantasize himself in charge, he would be swiftly taken "in hand" by his, yes, handlers. Look what practice they have had over the last four years in character assassination. Should they have a Dem Congress, it would be a breeze. Remember the Roman Triumvirate of Antony, Octavian and Lepidus? Note the contempt Shakespeare's Antony and Octavian shared for the briefly useful twit Lepidus? Biden is the Dem Lepidus and if he should get the notion that he counts, the triumphant Marxists would deal him to retirement in short order. And this time the terribly resolved left will not settle for any other than the vindictively motivated Hillary would have been. Their conduct in the present compound crisis is proof positive of their instinct for the main chance and the jugular.

  13. Dr. Waddy: I hope the real America recognizes the opportunity this remarkable series of events affords those who would destroy everything we value. I think it does and I think it knows it must turn out for President Trump; its as simple and easy as that.

  14. Ray, don't give the Left any ideas: Mount Vernon and Monticello are probably living on borrowed time already. :(

Jack, you're right of course that a Biden presidency could be short-lived. It's immensely important who he chooses as his running mate, for that reason. Even a Dem win in 2020 wouldn't "seal the deal" with respect to the nation's fate, though. The Senate might still be a stumbling block, whether or not the Dems win a narrow majority. The courts would be a major obstacle to the institution of a left-wing dictatorship...for a while. Should the Dems capture the Presidency AND both Houses of Congress and keep that control for four whole years, or eight, well, the nation's prospects would look very dim indeed. Remember, though, in politics victory almost always presages a comeuppance. If Biden wins, that could be the beginning of the end for the progressives. Or it could be the beginning of the beginning.

  15. Dr. Waddy: I think the prospects of the American Taliban factor of the American left are manifest:

First: Trump loses and Biden's radical running mate takes over or Trump wins and the American Taliban caps off the revolution with REVOLUTION? 1789 0r 1917 are at hand!
