Happy New Year, friends!!! 2025 was a challenging year for me and my loved ones, for purely personal reasons, but it was a very, very good year for America and for the world, by and large. The U.S. economy and stock market boomed, despite the best efforts of leftists and "journalists" to tank them both. Scores of woke policies at the federal, state, local, and private sector levels were abolished, transgenderism went into headlong retreat, the federal workforce shrank by 10%, taxes were lowered, crime went down, inflation remained modest, the border became a downright boring place, 2.5 million illegal immigrants left the country either voluntarily or otherwise, tariffs reordered our trading relations with the rest of the world, the Supreme Court backed up President Trump the vast majority of the time, and, most surprising of all, Democrats staved off complete mental breakdowns by convincing themselves that, despite everything I just mentioned, they are winning! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!! It just goes to show you that the human spirit is nothing if not resilient, and delusionally so, where absolutely necessary. May the Year of Our Lord 2026 continue to bless this great nation, and may it bring peace and healing to those parts of the world most in need of it.

In other news, it's a popular misconception that, because the Constitution says that state legislatures get to decide on Congressional redistricting, this is how the process actually works. Not really. Redistricting is actually more of a dialectic process involving state legislatures, yes, but also state and federal courts, the latter of which get, as per usual, the final say. Thus, when one "arm" of the process doesn't give you, or your party, what you want, you can always try another. The Dems, since they're not idiots, are well aware of this, and they've been plying these various levers of power very successfully for a long time. The recent kerfuffle in Utah is a good example. It's about time we learned from their example!

Dr. Waddy from Jack: We have known for the lifetimes of almost all those living today that dreamers freed by Marx of traditional, painfully evolved moral strictures have seen in this license to do whatever is expeditious in hastening the perfect world he said was inevitable. The 20th century saw them savagely impose this will on terribly unfortunate multitudes.
ReplyDeleteThe Utah Congressional apportionment situation yet reaffirms this ad nauseum, ad infinitum truth. And it yet again confirms that it is only common sense to discriminate decisively against those who demonstrate Marxist intent because we KNOW they will act on it as far as their power enables them. Extending benefit of the doubt to them is folly.
The once creditable Dem party is now captured by the far left and is now that incipiently totalitarian faction's vehicle for acquisition of the power to force its rule on America. If there is a way, any way, to increase the number of Dems in Congress they will of course pursue it. The only way to stop them is to overpower them politically. No amount of reprimand can phase them; they are certain of their ultimate justice and believe it justifies their use of ANY measure, no matter how reprehensible. That is perhaps the premier political and historical truth proven by the 20th century.
We have in power now a lawful Scotus; that and the MAGA which led us in seating them must continue to receive our unwavering support as they work our rule of law which is the vital antithesis of cynical and amoral Dem misuse of our democracy.
Dr. Waddy from Jack: Since the word "discriminate" is widely thought to be a pejorative, let me clarify my use of it above. I mean to take all legal political action to oppose those who advocate Marxism.
ReplyDeleteDr. Waddy from Jack: I enthusiastically agree with what you have expressed above on the exceedingly good fortune our country experienced in 2025 and join in your wish for continued success for America and the world .
ReplyDeleteIt appears that the tyrannical and viciously antisemitic Iranian regime may be in very grave trouble. How good it would be for us, Israel , the long beleagured Iranian people and the world if this cruel parody of theocracy were to fall. And as is so often so with our country , we have much to do with this hopeful development.
I cannot refrain however from a snide remark. As of yesterday we no longer have to travel 90 miles to see a communist subjugated island. We need only cross the ( now ironically named)George Washington bridge.
The irony is increased when we consider that Washington faced and overcame some of his darkest but ultimately redeeming days in our fight for democratic independence right there in now benighted NYC . Jack
ReplyDeleteDr. Waddy from Jack: So I hear Comrade Mamdani's initial pronunciamento was true to form for triumphant Marxists; oodles of good news for "the people" (and "implied"bad news for the proscribed classes). I mean, Fidel was quite the haranguer too but not quite a benefit to his country. I expect Comrade Dear Leader's first "Five Year Plan" is in the offing and upon its declaration will be summarily celebrated as already an accomplished victory for "justice and equity". It will be conducted with customary artifice and all manner of intimidation and humbug. We can count on it to be somewhat less than redeeming. Equal OCD is its likely consequence. No, not that OCD (which I have). I mean Oppressive Communist Dysfunction and I'm confident that's what will transpire. The catastrophic and consistent 108 year history of Marxism in application tends to be convincing as to marxism's "drawbacks" . Why, just consider the many hundreds of millions of live ended or ruined by that detestable doctrine.
ReplyDeleteIn a way the world benefits from Comrade Mandami's cynical coup. Since the deserved fall of world communism (but for atavistic outposts like N.Korea and Venezuela) commies have argued" well, we just didn't get it right the first time. But we learned from our mistakes; we are still unchallengably just and correct, so give us another chance!". Ok , you "Democratic" Socialist , nevertheless Marxist ,savages are getting another chance and in the very capitalist heart of despised America itself. The only question is how long it will take you to manifest the essential totalitarianism which is the only promise your ilk ever keeps.
Now history affirms that Marxists in power inevitably become murderous. In NYC 's case I expect they will quickly form a "united front" with the "revolutionary class " of violent criminals in order to create an ambience distinctly unwelcoming for the unjustly "privileged" lawful. The regime will be able to mobilize a criminal horde which has been slavering over such a windfall after years of inconvenient law enforcement.
Does it all sound hyperbolic? Imagine having been apprised of what injustice Marxists have actually done for the last century + with your having no prior knowledge of it. Who would ever believe it? But it was real, all too real and NYC's ordeal will be too.
Dr. Waddy from Jack: Of course NYC is still part of America and as long as DJT or a comparable successor is in the Presidency, Federal power will be in the hands of leaders who personify American values. A dominant American value has been to be as Nemesis (the Greek semidiety which when once directed by the Gods against an offender was irresistibly unrelenting ) to thoroughly demonstrated Marxist inhumanity. Like the criminals which they are, "American" Marxists will test their limits and our hombre President will, the happy warrior he is, be pleased to defeat them.
ReplyDeleteQuite right, Jack! Leftist judges will happily do whatever is in their power to stack the deck in the favor of their fellow leftists. The best we can hope for from conservative judges is that they won't sabotage the efforts of Republican legislators to even the playing field (by tipping it selectively, which seems hypocritical but what else have we got?).
ReplyDeleteWell, NYC now has a socialist figurehead, but I would hope that its city council and the supervisory role played by NYS would prevent Mamdani from becoming a latter day Castro...but time will tell. As you point out, he'll also have the Feds to contend with, although that specter would be much more intimidating if the DOJ were to succeed in ensnaring A SINGLE DEMOCRAT OR LIBERAL in its prosecutorial web. Just one!!! That's all I ask.
