The Voice of Liberty is Louder Than Ever!

Friends, you won't want to miss this week's Newsmakers show, featuring, in addition to U.S. Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, moi!  Plus, my segment is longer than ever, meaning the show is more cogent and compelling than ever!  Brian and I cover everything from the humbling of Iran to the shamelessness of "democratic socialists".  Listen, and be amazed!!!

In other news, in the wake of SCOTUS's brave stand against judicial activism and for executive authority, Chief Justice Roberts is warning (liberals) against intemperate, irresponsible, even violent rhetoric against specific judges.  This is a timely observation, given the increasing venom that the Left is directing at conservative Justices.  The Justices' recent actions took a great deal of courage, especially given the almost universal hostility to Trumpism inside the Beltway, and we must do everything in our power to shield them from retaliation.  Of course, tactically speaking, it doesn't hurt to remind the Blessed Six who their real friends are, and who is eyeing them with murderous contempt...

  1. Dr. Waddy from Jack: The common sense people in the U.S., which includes us, have had as much almost incredibly good fortune since 2015, when DJT decided to go for it all rather than the Governorship of NY, as to be at that time seemingly impossible. We came within an eyelash of utter and quite possibly final catastrophe before Hillary was denied her coronation. The evil that an assured Hillary Scotus would have done is incalculable, because aside from the direct far left injustice routinely and casually rendered by such a tribunal, there would have been myriad political, social and cultural "penumbras and emanations" loosed on America by a triumphant "Critical Legal Studies" guided Hillary dictated tribunal and their dreamy dictates.

I think our legal good fortune is personified by, among others, our Chief Justice. He has not always agreed with us but his principled devotion to the rule of law has done us much justice. Frantic far leftists , whose conviction that they are indisputably correct, incomparably "compassionate" and doctrinally unimpeachable would do well to take very seriously a warning from this very dutiful and gracefully restrained man that they control their emotions when they are defeated in the legal arena. A man of his rectitude means what he says and sees no need to resort to discrediting hyperbole.

. Our Chief Justice has not hesitated to advise our present very President to take it somewhat easy in criticizing the Judiciary ; I think it very unwise of far leftists, stung to the quick with unbearable contradiction of their "verities", to think the Chief Justice would not task them should they overreact to their continuing string of setbacks as they would gladly have done in the past.

Our nation is so lucky to have empowered such as President Trump, MAGA and Chief Justice Roberts at such a terribly critical time.

  2. Jack, all is forgiven as far as Chief Justice Roberts is concerned, if you ask me. Sure, he's been a disappointment at times, but leading the court to this stern rebuke of activist liberal judges is about the most valuable and patriotic thing he could have done, and he did it. Bravo!

I hasten to add that Roberts, Kavanaugh, and ACB are probably the last hope the Left now has to hold Trump even slightly in check. As you say, once in a while, SCOTUS will rule against Trump. Thus, for the Left to shower contempt on these Justices, or threaten them with harm, would be monumentally unwise...but probably it's an irresistible temptation, nonetheless.

  3. Dr. Waddy from Jack: Good point about how the far left would be wise not to remind those three Justices about their contempt for the rule of law.

Today Dear Leader Mandami said "there should be no billionaires, its not equal". I have never understood the far left's impassioned, often reflexive and mindless concern for
equality, other than before the law.

First, its been proven impossible by the catastrophic efforts done in its name in the 20th century laboratory to which Marxism was subjected. Second , why should it matter, as long as most everyone who is willing to live constructively and lawfully has a good chance for a decent life, as is true in the U.S. ?I live under circumstances far less prosperous than some but I have comfortable housing, enough food , readily available medical care, and can enjoy having a modest but sound vehicle. OK, I spent four years on an aircraft carrier to pay for the education which has helped me to this well being. Why the blue blazes should I care that others have more? Most of them have earned it and alot of them spread it around. Alot of them are smarter and work harder than me. What, would these far leftists take their earnings from them? Of course they would.

Third: we know from experience that after they have brought everyone down to equal want, these "levellers" make sure that they live in far more "equal" luxury.

Mandami is a smart guy and he knows he can probably never "fundamentally reform" the U.S. That was intended in 2008 but it just didn't work out. But he really could create a hellish island of far leftist dysfunction at the mouth of the Hudson and maybe in already benighted NY state.

  4. Dr. Waddy from Jack: Re the Newsmaker broadcast: Rep. Claudia Tenney: she helps give NY state a better name in Congress and I hope she is destined for greater things.

NYC Mayoralty race: Yeah, I think you are right, Cuomo could come back and if he were to win he could still stand for the nomination in '28 and use as his battle cry: " see, I'm the moderate we need, I beat those radicals in NYC (and look how I cracked down on crime in NYC). And I'm also encouraged by your opinion that a GOP candidate could slip in if independents like Adams and/or Cuomo split the multitudinous Dem vote. A Mayor Sliwa would, yes, be a staggering blow to NYC radicals and their criminal dependents.

Well, NY state continues to set a most telling example and warning of how dominant far left rule works out. Now our elected Attorney General, she of her utterly cynical and futile effort to ruin DJT , proposes to force all hospitals in NY state to do abortion on demand. Take heed America, this is what you get if you let a Dem party, now completely subjugated by the far left , take over. Its incipient totalitarianism and its guaranteed when they rule.

The NATO nations which promised to up their defense expenditures as per Pres. Trump's urging: they laughed at him during his first term; they don't dare to do that now but if now they seek to film flam him on these promises I think he will show them what his domestic detractors have learned of him: he's an HOMBRE and if you mess with him, expect to be messed with in return. Best that you do what you promised because HE WILL!

  5. Jack, I agree: I have no issue with the fact that some enjoy greater luxury than I do. Many deserve it, because they work a heck of a lot harder than I do! In any case, the vast majority of Americans live far more comfortably than millionaires (who were the billionaires of their day) did a hundred years ago. Let's be grateful for that!

Jack, I'd like to think that Trump will hold NATO's (collective) feet to the fire, but what leverage does he have? He can withhold arms from Ukraine, and he can take the US out of NATO. Is he willing to do either? Supposedly we've suspended certain types of arms shipments to Ukraine, but will it be long-term, and is it enough to change the dynamics on the ground? We shall see.

  6. Dr. Waddy from Jack: Good point on Nato. I think now they could take Russia on even without us. So if DJT were to pull us out, neither party would be the worse off.

  7. Well, I wouldn't go that far. Deterrence is about what your enemy thinks he can get away with. Russia will hesitate to attack NATO all the more if the U.S. is in it, but I agree with your assessment that Russia is in no shape to take on, say, Poland, by itself, let alone the European powers in NATO as a whole.
