Split Decision

Friends, the GOP and the dastardly Dems fought each other to a draw last night, as the Dems won the big State Supreme Court race in Wisconsin, but Republicans won two House special elections in Florida, plus a referendum to require photo ID in future Wisconsin elections.  All in all, not a terrible showing.  The talking heads are trying to blame Elon Musk for the failure of Brad Schimel to win his Wisconsin race, but maybe he's just a bad candidate, or maybe he should have leaned into Musk's support instead of away from it, or maybe the Dems cheated more lavishly than ever.  Who knows.  Anyway, our House majority is now just a bit more robust than it was before, and that may be the biggest takeaway of all, because we need the House to produce some RESULTS...

In somewhat related news, the media is celebrating declining Tesla sales and blaming Musk for his political activism.  Well, it's true that many lefties are turning away from Tesla for essentially (asinine) political reasons, but isn't that proof that Elon is even more of a patriot than we thought he was?  I mean, he's losing money by taking on the Swamp, and yet he's still at it.  What a swell guy!

P.S.  Help is on the way, Elon, as I plan to buy at least 5 million Teslas in the second quarter.  Think I might need a bigger garage?

  1. Dr. Waddy from Jack: Elon: Marxist totalitarians , not surprisingly, have totally closed minds. They are motivated only by dictated doctrine and emotion.

Marx released them from allegiance to any thought, any principle which preceded his "Promethean" preconception of the human condition. Lenin took him at his word and in power saw no guiding principle in his inhuman tactics other than cause and effect. It had to take a suspension of reason to be able to accept the dizzying counterintuitive changes in his policies and those of his acolytes Stalin and Mao: eg New Economic Policy ; noo, collectivization and central control of all industry; then lets murder all the commissars, including faithful old Bolshies and soldiers; "Let a hundred schools of thought contend"; noo send PhDs into the fields and let callow youths run riot in China; etc. etc. ad nauseum, ad infinitum.

All today's American far left knows is that Musk now threatens the financial resources vital to their endless proliferation of their dreamy , presumptuous dictates which change upon any Marxist whim. Yesterday Musk had their hard won approval for his production of electric cars. Now "he's a counterrevolutionary" which is the customary Marxist condemnation .

You are so right: Musk is a profound , selfless PATRIOT, just like DJT.

  2. Dr. Wady from Jack: NYC Mayor Adams announced he will run for reelection as an independent. He's finished politically; too much crime, too much waffling, too much sanctuary city baggage. That clears the way for Prince Cuomo in his Napoleonic bid for redemption.

He'll probably be the next NYC mayor - NYC is lala enough to do it - and in his campaign he will touch, but sparingly , on his newfound animus toward the criminals he has heretofore succored. But mark my words, once in office he will hold his nose and be the neo Guiliani in his all out onslaught on crime. (Slick Willy's con man example is not lost on this amoral latter day hopeful "comeback kid" ). He thinks he can threby be the savior of the dems from themselves.Of course if he were to successfully flim flam the country , as he actually thinks he could, he would in power revert to far leftist disdain for America. Oh I'd love to see how he would try to "relate" to people in Newton, Kansas or Havre , Montana .

  4. Jack, I hear rumors that Musk may step back from his central role in the Trump Administration and DOGE. I hope not. I believe he's doing a heck of a lot of good. That would also be interpreted by the lefties as a massive win, and I can't abide the possibility that the neo-Marxists would be rewarded for their beastliness towards Musk. We must SHOW NO FEAR, if we know what's good for us.

It sure would be interesting to see what Cuomo could make of a second chance. At least he's not as dumb as a bag of rocks. I'll give him that much.

  5. Dr. Waddy from Jack: No, Cuomo is not dumb but he is monumentally arrogant, as we in his erstwhile NY fiefdom know only too well. That fault cost his sainted father the Presidential crown he thought his due and tripped up Andrew right proper too. I mean, he thought he could get away with anything and he apparently does persist in that hubris (an appropriate term due to his perception of his Olympian heroism in the light of recent setback). His Napoleonic willingness to grant us once more his ineffable leadership is apparent in his reach for the NYC mayoralty as a base from which to mount his redemption of his beleagured party and an erring America in 2028. That he knows next to nothing about the vital America outside his northeast megalopolis milieu is of no moment to him, such is his self perceived greatness.

  6. Dr. Waddy from Jack: Our courage should be inspired by the raw gutsyness displayed every public moment by Musk and DJT and yes, such as Pam Bondi, Pete Hegseth and Christie Noem. Their continued tenure in government and on this earth are constantly hazarded by virulent far left HATRED!
