Happy Thanksgiving, fellow right-wing deplorables! We have so much to be thankful for this year. Most of all, each other! Also, the election, of course, and the wide vistas of opportunity it has opened up. Success is not guaranteed, and our achievements may fall short of our expectations, but then again at least we have opportunities in store rather than, say, four years of lamentation and lunacy, as may be the case with some of the other people sitting at our Thanksgiving dinner tables. I say give them extra cranberry sauce this year. They're gonna need it!
Here are DJT's Thanksgiving wishes to the nation:
And here is a story about Mark Zuckerberg, who came on bended knee to dine with The Donald. This too is probably a good sign!
Dr. Waddy from Jack: Well said, well said! You know, I was grateful and relieved in 2016 because we had avoided grimly vindictive Pres. Hillary. As it turned out, her loss changed American history, first by denying her the opportunity to confirm a lawless far left rubber stamp Scotus and then a happy juxtaposition of good luck, Senatorial faith and DJT's determination to follow-up fully on this priceless chance which brought the reality of a lawful Scotus.
ReplyDeleteBut this time we perceived from the start that ALL depended on THIS election; that four more years of an administration commanded by the antiamerican left would bring us to the point where totalitarian rule of America was guaranteed eventual triumph. Absurdly conceived and evolved wokeness; Pelosiesque imperious contempt for America outside of effete San Francisco salons, absolutely blatant misuse of our laws for leftist partisan advantage and the personal destruction of their worst nightmare and a continuing ever more unrelenting far left assault on all we cherish would be more than our culture could stand. It had to be stopped this time!
And it was!!! What a "joy" that is. It's the most satisfying and redeeming development I've seen in 64 years of following American politics. Now, if we unstintingly resolve to follow up on this until the curse of neomarxism in America is extinguished , we will have stayed true to America and have given the great American who has led us to this happy juncture at incomparable personal disadvantage to himself and his family the support and gratitude he richly deserves. We know now that we CAN win!
His good wishes for those who opposed him: I agree with that portion of them directed at Dems of good will who had sincere concerns about him. But as for antiamerica, for the casually and anarchically destructive rump, let it stew!! Its discomfiture is the fruit of their presumptuous , ruthless and dream driven condemnation of this precious land.
RAY TO DR. WADDY AND JACK
ReplyDeleteHope the both of you had fine Thanksgivings. Thanks for all the excellent articles and comments.
Dr. Waddy from Jack: DJT is a good willed , expansive man but I trust he will avoid anything which smacks of "apologetic conservativism". Like the criminals they exalt, far leftists will make haste to drive through any gaps we reveal in our determination to rid our country of their malign influence.
ReplyDeleteDr. Waddy from Jack :If the haymaker we gave antiamerica in the election is but the first of many, we may see an increasing siege mentality develop in the steel blue states. And, as is true in any siege, onerous measures for defense will become commonplace. "Never let a crisis go to waste" Clinton cadre Rahm Emanuel once pontificated .Why sure, all sorts of keen opportunities for advancing totalitarian rule are thereby afforded; just ask Prince Cuomo. Antiamerica just now is fully aroused by a profound sense of crisis.
ReplyDeleteIt will be instructive and it should inspire us to follow up on the advantage we have gained, to look to these frantic blue states for fair prediction of how their leaders would if they could "fundamentally transform" our country into woke submission to totalitarianism. In their touching despair just now they may decide to pull up the drawbridges and go full out for intolerance of any manifestation of heresy among their subjects.
In Massachusetts (once the "cradle of liberty") a legislative process is underway which would ban ALL tobacco products from their "Peoples' Republic". (How the far left does cherish the word "all"; its so convenient!). Ok, that's not the "October" Revolution but it does reveal a kind of thinking which may well proliferate in the beleagured outposts of unfettered far left presumption and imposition.
The eventual solution for restoring common sense and Constitutionally guaranteed rights may eventually have to be a temporary Federal takeover of states like NY, CA, Illinois. We can count on unbearably thwarted far left fanaticism to continue to devise ways to work its will on "all" still under its vindictive authority in its lala land islands.
Ray from Jack: The same wishes you have expressed to you also.
ReplyDeleteDr. Waddy from Jack: I would guess that you see the Zuckerberg visit as a sign that far leftist subjugation of high tech news and opinion media is in big trouble. That certainly is good news; eg. its a thumb in the eye to the MSM , a shamefully compromised medium which perhaps cannot survive a free and honest technosphere.
ReplyDeleteDr. Waddy from Jack: Today Town Hall posts an article which suggests that a comeback for Hillary is in the works. One of DJT's sons was quoted to this effect on that: "just when I thought I couldn't be more thankful, this comes along". I agree: oh do, do Hillary!
ReplyDeleteThe curse of the Clintons is the unwelcome antigift which keeps on giving.. And this would lend it a truly bizarre aspect: on the one hand we have dems now wishing for a reprise of Slick Willy's disingenuous "moderation" in order to filmflam America once again on their ostensible essential centrism and return them to a power they would of course obsequiously surrender to the far left. The bottom line of course is that Willy is a consummate voluptuary whose only object has ever been to get high: from adulation, power, drama or other more chemical and physical sources. That's all. Whatever advances that personal craving, he would do and there is nobody as good as he is at it. Now Hillary is a completely different creature. She is a now very aging boomer idealist frustrated beyond measure by the unwillingness of the deplorables to pledge fealty to her and her unimpeachable "womens' Ivy League "wisdom and consequent '60s prescience . Her hate filled determination to make of the male half of the population second class citizens (fostered by her cynical usage by the "husband" with whom she crafted an obscene parody of the institution of marriage, solely in order to gain power for herself) is by now obvious and getting pretty tiresome. She needs to repair unto Westchester Co, NY (naturally) and regular enjoyment of Chardonnay. If she dares reemerge , AOC will put her to rout.
That this onerous possibility can be the subject of creditable discourse is indicative of the pathetic desperation of a Dem party which abides now deep in despair. Oh they will come back to plague America; if we are ready we can yet deal them the final blow in the foreseeable future and deliver America from their totalitarian dreams.
Ray, you are most welcome! I'm thankful for YOU, Ray.
ReplyDeleteJack, it will be most interesting to see whether the treatment of conservatives gets better or worse in blue states in the aftermath of Trump's great election victory. It could so easily go either way... Maybe it will go both ways, in a fashion.
Yes!!! One has to wonder whether the Left, as it presently exists, can survive as a politically viable movement in a media/social media environment that doesn't privilege its views and suppress those of all dissidents from progressivism. In short, can neo-Marxism survive the light of day??? We'll soon know.
Agreed: only a Democratic Party in a state of total desperation would be musing about renominating the likes of Hillary or Kamala. Their bemusement is a wonderful sign, since the last thing we would want is for leftists to gain a clear-eyed perspective on their own weaknesses.
