Speaking of which, the House of Representatives is inching ever closer to authorizing a formal impeachment inquiry against "the Big Guy". I hope the vote goes well, because impeachment really will be a game-changer. Joe Biden merits the scrutiny -- that's for sure -- and, whatever the impeachment odyssey achieves, it will certainly add to Americans' doubts about the character, judgement, and general presidential fitness of Sleepy Joe. The Dems say the American people will rally around their "Dear Leader", but I scoff! I mean, Republicans will, in effect, only be telling the voters what they already know: that Joe Biden is a self-interested career politician whose entire family has been cashing in on his "reputation" (such as it is) and his access to the halls of power for decades. The Bidens don't just seem like venal, puffed up a**holes -- they really are!

ReplyDeleteI don't hate to say this, but there are actually power brokers waiting in the wings (no pun intended) to replace Biden, and they are even more dangerous, and smart.
Dr. Waddy from Jack: The other day in the House, Comrade Jeffries bellowed: " go ahead, censure ME now!"in self righteous dudgeon over the insolent tasking of a member of HIS caucus. These dems can dish it out but they can't take it, yes? Actually though its their characteristic tactic of not giving an inch tinged with a hint of incipient dread that the GOP may finally be embracing similar intransigence. Maga! The dems attitude throughout this impeachment effort will be, consistently so, shock, SHOCK and spluttering outrage at America's presumptuous prostitution of impeachment just as they did against DJT.

Hard to believe, but the people getting ready to take over the so called "Democrat" party will make Biden look mild compared to what they have in store for Americans. They are utterly ruthless. It is my opinion that next year Biden will step aside, and one of these political Boomslangs will be nominated by the DNC at the convention.

That's because they are real. Some work, some don't, and some are fake, but they exist. History is full of them, Right and Left. I also like the theory that the current regime will get us into WW 3, and then declare a state of emergency, and elections can be suspended. Sound depressing? That's because it is.
Ray et al from Jack: I'd suggest we consider that the 1944 elections proceeded in a time of still intense suspense as to the outcome of the war.Of course the traitorous left had no power then. But: those who today aspire to the van of the powerful and destructive antiamerican left - certainly glittering Newsom, eventually or incidentally sooner AOC, even withered Hillary with her last gasp of leftist boomer vindictiveness and ingratitude - they used pore ol' Biden far beyond his feeble comprehension, against the enemy who transfixes them with fear: DJT.Joe has little understanding of their totalitarian devotion and even if he did, he would be helpless to counter it, even if he wished to do so.

Hmm. I disagree that Biden can't do any more damage to the country. Merely by twiddling his thumbs while his, uhh, associates gradually infiltrate the hitherto bipartisan judiciary, and solidify their vice-like grip on all other institutions, he and his reelection could easily produce all the same horrible consequences that Ray outlines, including the effective end of democratic pluralism. Heck, the reelection of Joe Biden could just as easily lead to President Newsom, since they might reshuffle the deck chairs as soon as the American people and their execrable "opinions" had been disposed of... The best case scenario, by far, is that Biden stays in the captain's chair long enough to LOSE in 2024.
