Well, just as soon as Iran had opened the Strait of Hormuz, it claimed it had closed it again...and the U.S. Navy said it hadn't. Meanwhile, the Iranians pointedly refused to show up for negotations in Switzerland...and then abruptly turned up anyway. These are what we call "mixed signals", and they seem appropriate for such a confusing, unsatisfying, and precarious "conclusion" to such a confusing, unsatisfying, and precarious "war". Don't count your supertankers until they've hatched -- that's my advice.
In other news, Trumpian deportations are still going strong! We're at 900,000 and counting. A good start, I say, but no reason to get complacent. The problem of illegal immigration won't be solved until, well, there aren't any illegals left! We're a long way from that.
Oh, and before I forget I've been featured on not one but two radio shows recently: the Newsmakers show, as per usual, and the No Nonsense show too. Radio stardom looks good on me, don't you think?

With good old Tom Homan on the job it will keep on keeping on with vigor and devotion in the face of sedition and insurrection (he's from NY's common sense North Country and his bluff manner and appearance must drive the far left to emotional paroxyms of contradicted "unimpeachable" righteousness. )
ReplyDeleteHoman has said he will flood NYC with ICE agents ( and no doubt would be supported by other Federal forces if needed )in response to NY state's one party dictatorship's recent dictation to local and state law enforcement throughout the state to refuse cooperation with ICE in enforcing Immigration Law .
But its high time for a further step: the Federal prosecution of Governors and Mayors who protect illegals from both local, state and Federal law enforcement officials. These lawless virtue signalers are apparently ignorant of the fact that "nullification" is just not fashionable in our country since Andrew Jackson threatened to send the US Army to S. Carolina to disabuse it of such a cavalier interpretation of our Constitution. Such officials should be relieved of their offices at least until after trial. President Trump has already expressed willingness to take direct Federal control of DC should its new Mayor presume to go rogue. Good for him!
These officials have used the force inherent in their offices to defy Federal law in offering a level of sanctuary already defined as beyond the scope of that law. They insist they will not relent. So let them be met now by such Federal force as is necessary to right the wrong they are committing.
Our Immigration Law is the product of our democratic legislative process, in which careful attention was given to many of the views expressed by these maverick outlaws. It is amendable by the same democratic process. Those officials who yet seek to bypass this process must be met by decisive correction. This duty is incumbent on the Feds in order to keep faith with law abiding America.
Dr. Waddy from Jack: If we suffer this aspect of our laws to be flouted then what assurance do we have that we are still guaranteed the protection of ANY laws found by the ":American" radical left to be intolerable to them and deserving of summary, well yes, NULLIFICATION
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more, Jack! It's high time that an elected official, somewhere, somehow, faced legal jeopardy because of his (or her) aid and comfort to illegal aliens. It would only take one successful prosecution to put the fear of God into these soft insurrectionists... Let's get on with it!!!
