Friends, the Poles are claiming that Russia has launched more than a dozen drones against their sovereign territory, and this is, of course, a major provocation that ought to gird all of NATO to strike back! Well, duh. The Poles are itching for a fight with Russia, to which I reply: then have one! Send your brave Polish soldiers over the border and intervene in the Russia-Ukraine War. You have plenty of good reasons to do it. We, the people of the United States, do not.
Could pharmaceutical ads be removed from our airwaves, or severely restricted in some way? If DJT and RFK get their way, the answer is yes! This would be a huge win for public health, insofar as Americans have been popping pills indiscriminately and irresponsibly for years, and it would be a huge win for conservatism and common sense, insofar as Big Pharma's ad dollars are the main reason why CNN and MSNOW are still in business. Banning such ads would devastate what we euphemistically call the mainstream media, and I'm all for that!!!
Dr. Waddy from Jack: If this drone incursion into Poland was intentional on the part of the Rus, it is an ominous development. I heard commentary yesterday that "Putin has been talking aggressively about Finland"
ReplyDeleteCould it be that Putin is playing cat and "mouse" with Nato? Could it be part of his strategy for a settlement of the Ukraine war on terms he can accept ? Surely he cannot contemplate any ground invasion of a Nato country (?) Russia's poor performance on the ground in Ukraine strongly suggests it would be repelled in any conventional attack on a Nato country unless he contemplates using nukes and even then he might well lose. Is he signalling that Russia is nearing the end of its patience with the negotiating process over Ukraine?
Maybe it was an accident but remember "Fail Safe"? Just sayin'.
Dr. Waddy from Jack: Could the recent "get together"of Russia , China, N.Korea and Iran have something to do with this? Is joint action or the suggestion that it is possible being considered ?
ReplyDeleteDr. Waddy from Jack: I know nothing about the business of pharma(although a veritable cornucopia of its products are keeping me going at age 78). I rely on your well founded perceptions of the benefits RFK Jr. is bringing about.
ReplyDeleteBut if restrictions on pharma advertising can hasten the demise of viciously America hating "MSNOW" (whatevah) and pathetic dishwater CNN: they sound good to me. Far leftists are all for restricting any expression by which their precious psyches are so very troubled; it would be good to see them hoisted on their own petards.
Jack, since the Russian drone "incursion" into Poland has been followed up by...absolutely nothing, I think we can safely conclude that it signified...absolutely nothing, except maybe Ukrainian desperation and dirty tricks?
