He's Baaaaaaaaack (Like It Or Not)!!!

Friends, the lefties made a full court press to force Disney to put Jimmy Kimmel back on the air, and it looks like they've succeeded.  Kimmel has not apologized for his false and offensive remarks about Charlie Kirk and the MAGA movement, but he's getting his show back and will once again be poisoning the minds of average Americans.  Phooey!  Clearly, we have a long way to go before Hollywood and broadcast media can be redeemed in the eyes of decent, patriotic Americans.  Shame on Disney!  Shame!!!

In other news, a truly remarkable memorial service was held for Charlie Kirk in Arizona yesterday, and among its noteworthy features was a reconciliation, of sorts, between President Trump and Elon Musk.  That was nice to see!  It sure looks as though the conservative movement has been energized by this tragedy, which is of course exactly what Kirk would have wanted.

Finally, President Trump and HHS Secretary RFK, Jr. have announced what they believe to be a causal link between pregnant women using Tylenol and autism.  Is this the real deal?  I'm not a doctor, and I'm not a scientist, so it's hard for me to say, but I have little doubt that lots of studies will now be undertaken to get to the bottom of this question, which is good.  Autism has been skyrocketing in recent years.  Something is amiss, and parents and prospective parents need answers.

  1. Dr. Waddy from Jack: Oh well, I don't willingly patronize any modern Disney product. But modern recording technology guarantees that we can always rejoice in viewing the incomparable works of the time when Disney was a beloved cultural treasure.

In late 1944 , with the Germans in full retreat it seemed , Hitler struck back with appalling force and destructiveness. America's war on a far left which still has appalling power to dissemble (in preparation for ultimate totalitarian reassembly), has sustained a setback by this episode but it does remain to be seen how long that vicious man will remain in his position. Disney must survive by honoring the bottom line and they may yet perceive him as an economic , if not a moral, burden.

Meanwhile lets keep the heat turned up on the America haters and their reflexive quest to destroy our country by a death of a thousand cultural cuts. Charlie Kirk has shown one very effective way to discredit them; show them up in principled dialogue for the automatons most of them are. Good young debaters, hone your skills at "university"; its been the premier training ground for budding Marxists, so meet them there. Demand that they defend their views ; most of them are incapable of doing it, they only know how to sneer, threaten and enact violence .

Then take the field against them throughout America, as Mr. Kirk did. We can win this civil war if we will but follow through on our present, perhaps once in a lifetime, astonishing advantage!

  2. Dr. Waddy from Jack: I just hope President Trump and RFKJr. have a very solid basis for what they said about Tylenol. Tylenol affords readily available relief to millions and no doubt provides a lot of jobs in its production. This statement of doubt about Tylenol will almost certainly have economic impact. Of course that would be justified should it be proven to cause autism.

I am very glad for President Trump's assertiveness in righting so many wrongs; I hope he's on the right track this time.

I would like to apologize to you for my previous comments to you, not all that long ago. They were very inappropriate. I must have been having a "bad day" but that is no excuse. Don't expect you to accept my apology, but if you do, I would like to engage in some civilized dialogue with you on this site in the immediate future. Thank you.

  6. Dr. Waddy from Jack: What ever is this sudden embrace of a state of
Palestine by so much of the world, including some of our closest allies? What gives? Who , what or where is this entity?

Its timing, when Israel is fighting for its life, is suspect. At best it is indicative of an attitude that a Palestinian state is the best bet for peace in the MIddle East. And I assume that the highly civilized countries which recognized this "state" of Palestine do not actually wish for Israel's annihilation. But Israel, more necessarily than ever after Oct.7 a garrison state, is most justifiably convinced that a "neighboring" Palestinian state would be implacably devoted to its destruction. And with nationhood, enabling it to join alliances, grant bases to such as Iran , have formal diplomatic relations imparting the ability to use them against Israel and to receive military support, would never be satisfied until it occupied and "cleansed" all of Israel.

Fox News published a map showing in red all the nations which have recognized this putative Palestinian state. One needs a magnifying glass to find Israel , surrounded as it is by this elephantine mass. And can there be any doubt that many of the nations in this horde have nothing but murderous wishes for Israel? My, my such a gargantuan gathering in support of wishes plainly inimical to tiny Israel. Does history provide a parallel?

Frankly I think many of those who subscribe to this noble enterprise to save the world from the existential threat of Israel's very existence are driven simply by the ancient abomination of Jew hatred, unreformed, unalloyed and unapologetic! God save courageous Israel from their evil!

I don't know what President Trump said to the U.N. today but I heard he was blunt. I'd rejoice to hear him say from the podium that the many America haters and Jew haters therein are persona non grata and are encouraged to leave and not return . America has been too generous in tolerating their onerous presence.

  7. Dr. Waddy from Jack: I've never watched Kimmel's show and I didn't watch his return. But I understand he pontificated about "free speech". That's rich, coming from someone I understand to be an apologist for a far left which enthusiastically suppresses or tries to suppress any expression which casts doubt on its "inarguably just" convictions (eg. in the American academy).

He was quoted as saying he did not "mean" to make light of Charlie Kirk's murder. What the hell does that "mean"? Did he mean to make dark of it? Would that explain the smirk he had on his puss?

I get the impression from reading about it that his monologue consisted mostly of lamentation for himself and a touch of very qualified apology.

As is typical of far left apologists these days he used Slick Willyesque preemption in terming Disney's decision to shut him down as ''unAmerican". Gimme a break; the far left he apparently embraces is the very definition of unAmerican.

  8. Dr. Waddy from Jack: This "rewoking'" of concern for sacred free speech( but again, I need to refrain from carelessly ascribing any religious significance to anything expressed by a far left which ruled from its '60s dorm rooms that religion was humbug) continues apace. Now Hillary has issued her pronunciamento, the wording of which we need not consider; the substance is;"free speech for me but not for thee". Slick Willyesque insincerity, of which she, to be fair , is a prime victim, on the part of Dems is wearing kind of thin. We "deplorables" are deplorably cynical about it. And we happen to have the stronger hand just now.

  9. Dr. Waddy from Jack: I read that President Trump chastened the assembled UN by saying it had not fulfilled its purpose.I think its purpose was to prevent another World War and it was un
derstandably assumed that one of the prime causes of just concluded WWII was the failure of the relatively good big powers to prevent the evil ones like Germany, Italy and Japan from bullying the less powerful in seeking incipient dominance. No doubt Haile Selassie's' poignant and futile plea to the League of Nations for help against the strutting Italian invaders of his quasi medieval empire was on their minds.

So though they reserved much executive or preventive power to the Security Council of nations which had done the most to defeat the Axis they also lent the cachet of U.N. membership to regimes some of which manifested atavistic tyranny both to their "subjects" and sometimes to neighbors. And as the U.N. bureaucracy inevitably grew, some of these tinhorns found themselves supervising committees committed to such as "fighting terrorism".

But gee, many of them did seem to have a fixed purpose of ridding the world of perfidious , though remarkably small and already much harried Israel; I can't imagine why though! I mean were Israel's nay sayers so very virtuous in themselves that they thought themselves justified to do it to death by "diplomacy" in their newly granted status as consequential powers?

The U.N. was well intended but it should have known better than to serve as a vehicle for the empowerment of nations unfit for power even with their own borders, much less the world. Its time for the U.S. to abandon it.

  11. Dr. Waddy from Jack: Oh my, the far left is mucho exercised by President Trump's perceived use of our legal system as "retribution" for the travails the Dems put him through thereby. "Why, why , they splutter, its UNAMERICAN".

Well of course he is but unlike highly imaginative radicals who even trumpeted their intentions of "getting" Trump using their legal powers, this administration stands on solid ground in investigating them for misuse of their august offices. And investigations can lead to indictments if the will is there to use creditable findings.

Contrary to far leftist cant. President Trump is a human being, with human feelings. That he should derive satisfaction from seeing those who so gravely wronged him now themselves on the snide?! I'm glad for him!

In prostituting our well established legal verities as they did these amoral incipient totalitarians wronged America itself and I'll bet President Trump takes much satisfaction at holding them to account for the damage their cynical and presumptuous lawfare has done to the country.

In so challenging this extraordinary man and the nation he loves, the far left has made a fundamental, perhaps decisive, mistake.

  13. Dr. Waddy from Jack: A commentator on Fox today said words to this effect in noting the greatly expanded interest in Turning Point USA and its objectives since the death of Charlie Kirk: "There is now a very significant cultural shift toward common sense and PROVEN traditional values in our country which has been given tremendous additional accreditation by Charlie Kirk's mortal sacrifice and which has been graced beyond measure by his Wife's stalwart, noble fortitude and the public's monumental outpouring of grief and support thereof."

The commentator further remarked (to paraphrase) the far left has directly brought this about due to its reckless infusion into our polity of murderous hate for President Trump, Maga and the conservative views which define the beliefs of so very many solid citizens. Terribly disturbed individuals have acted in their desperate way on the filth the far left spews.

I know its premature to suggest but can it be that we are in the formative stages of another "Great Awakening" in our country so very much wounded by far leftist devotion to our destruction?. I know the presumptuous far left has much misused the word "woke" and its derivatives but the term "Great Awakening" I understand to historically define two periods of powerful and much theretofore previously repressed moral reaction, in the early 19th and early 20th centuries ,to perceived cultural rot and both having strong religious structure.

That this might be a possibility is a ringing condemnation of the "American" left's now 60 year onslaught on our country's foundations. There is nothing within those pillars for which that Marxist inspired horde has not expressed totalitarian hostility and, where it has gained the power, suppressed them with characteristic , beyond even vicious, Marxist intolerance!

Particularly hopeful is the even now much increased invasion of the shamefully Marxist captured American academy by adherents of Charlie Kirk' s well informed, faith motivated challenge to their Marxist campus gulags. OK, they have not yet breached the Ivy League but I fully expect them to be at its once exalted gates very shortly. And as it has already been on some campuses and in some red states like Oklahoma and in the U.S. as a whole, it will not be as a foreign invader but as rescuers of common sense folks long suppressed in incipiently far left totalitarian settings.

These are heady times we are living through. We may be seeing and participating in, the redemption of our country from a terribly invasive doctrine which once stood fair to destroy all we cherish and which could,if we do not follow through on these present successes, still enslave us.

  14. Jack, I personally feel that way too many Americans pop a pill every time they feel a slight twinge. Pregnant women should suck it up and stay away from Tylenol! Giving birth is a piece of cake anyway. (I hope no mothers are reading this.)

Ray, that's very big of you to admit that your rhetoric may have crossed the line. Hey, we all err! Well, not Jack. He blots his copybook.

Jack, the saddest thing about Jimmy Kimmel's return is that he hasn't apologized, he hasn't retracted his statement about Kirk's killer being "MAGA", and he hasn't explained what he meant. ABC/Disney could have insisted that he do at least one of these things. Shame on them for letting him skate by with evasions and self-congratulation. Down with Disney!!!

Maybe Trump shouldn't call on his DOJ to indict anyone, but it hardly matters. Grand juries don't return indictments without cause, and indictments in themselves don't imply guilt or guarantee punishment. When DJT starts lining his enemies up against a wall, THEN the Left can complain more credibly.

Hmm. I'd love to believe that we're undergoing a "Great Awakening", Jack, but where's the objective evidence? Okay, Trump won a close election against a monstrously flawed opponent, but I require more than that!

  15. Dr. Waddy from Jack: Part of my , yes, tenuous, speculation about another Great Awakening centers on the highly religious nature of Charlie KIrk's now proving very significant influence on our culture. But for sure, very much more support would be required to make a plausible observation that it could be at hand.

  16. Jack, for what it's worth, few "awakenings" ever awaken everyone, or even a majority of the population. A profound cultural shift may affect only a small group, in fact, as long as it's a group of decisive importance.
