Friends, a very happy Labor Day to you, one and all! This Labor Day, it's worth reflecting on the considerable wage gains that workers have made since DJT took office (for the second time). Plus, there are now several million more native-born Americans working for a living in the private sector than there were in January, while the number of government workers and immigrant workers has fallen. How's that for a pleasant change? You asked for AMERICA FIRST, and you got it!
In other news, President Trump has challenged Big Pharma to prove the effectiveness of their COVID vaccines. Skepticism about the vaccines, especially of the mRNA variety, has been building on the right for years, and it appears that the RFK point of view is rising all the way to the top. As a doctor of philosophy, I frankly don't know what to think about any vaccine, but I do want such public health decisions to be made on the basis of genuine science, not corrupt backroom deals.

Should nutjobs be confined to the nuthouse? Maybe so, says President Trump, although most insane asylums were closed long ago, basically as a cost savings measure. You know what's really cheap? A lobotomy! Don't knock it 'til you've tried it...
Finally, former Brazilian President Bolsonaro, a staunch conservative, is about to go on trial for plotting a coup to remain in power. Gee, I wonder how the leftist Supreme Court will rule?
Dr. Waddy from Jack: I did not see any mention of energy sector jobs returning to blue collar America. But I know President Trump vowed to "drill baby drill" and I'm confident that he has followed through as much as he can.
ReplyDeleteI am thrilled by the revival of the exploitation of our fantastically abundant fossil fuels and the Trump administration's abrogation of far leftist regulations which have plagued and disheartened our dynamic energy industry. I live eight miles from coal and gas rich North Central Pennsylvania and I hope those good folks are benefitting. We in NY have still to deal with a Dem one party dictatorship which will do its best to prevent any such heresy effecting NY state.
Good 'ol beer and a shot Scranton native President Biden's far left environmental fanatic commanded summary ending of many thousands of jobs in the recovery of natural energy sources was vicious and ignorant in the extreme. Lots of families had relocated to sometimes unfamiliar places to take advantage of high paying jobs. Some had put down roots (eg. mortgages). In the eyes of President Biden's radical handlers they had simply bet on the wrong horse. And to far leftists that means any doubt of their irrefutable wisdom on the environment. "They got what they deserved; they can go get "shovel ready 'green ' jobs, yes ?"I trust President Trump, motivated as always by common sense , is doing all he can to undo this gross and myopic injustice., with his onslaught on the badly thought out and presumptuous "Green New Deal" (the product of an NYC bartender turned demagogue).
The radical Green crowd has failed to prove a human responsibility for "global warning". But they are, as usual ,emotionally bound to push policy supporting that assumption and recklessly offering radical redemption with the draconian social and economic policies they always frivolously embrace . They tried in politics, government , economics and the law to force us to accept their dreamy unproven theories in order to advance us to a perfect world. The "environment" is simply their latest characteristic power grab!Common sense, which President Trump exemplifies and supports ,is the needed antidote to their totalitarian campaign to force unneeded and unwanted "fundamental transformation" on a still free America.
Dr. Waddy from Jack: One factor to consider is that far left governmental executives gained invaluable experience in administering totalitarian dictation on a massive scale during the epidemic. I'm sure many of them have developed an unslakeable thirst for a reprise of such gratifying power. Most won't get it just now because the U.S. is in the salubrious embrace of common sense, so they have of necessity to bide their time or bust!. Still, as radicals had to do after 1972, they can feign loyalty and corrupt from within, like dry rot, for the time being. Mamdani and AOC are still young after all. But I pity the radical faction of the Boomers. They don't have time to wait to see the culmination of their life long dream of destroying the hated country which gave them the best childhoods any generation has had. Their generation mate, DJT, has "done for" them. Too bad!
ReplyDeleteBut I don't think genuine science is the strong point of so many in the academic setting of the sciences: boomers or their now second generation of regimented sprigs. My understanding is that many of them have advanced through academic settings in which conformity with certain political beliefs was emphasized at the expense of objective scientific affirmation and that hard won careers depended on reflexive conformity.
RAY TO JACK
ReplyDeleteLooks like you can't take a little sarcastic joking.
Ray, why don't you refrain from your erratic personal comments and just stick to the issues. Jack

DeleteThanks for the reprimand. I'll be fading out of Dr. Waddy's excellent website soon anyway. I suspect that the reason more people don't post is because of your personal comments filled with a lot of unnecessary long words, that I suspect you use to impress everyone with. I remember one time you wished Dr. Waddy a salubrious vacation trip. How many people wish someone a nice trip using such word? In any event, you won't be see me around any more. Just one more excellent site wasted because of your egotistical vocabulary.
Dr. Waddy from Jack: I like the irony of the using of the characteristic Marxist image of the joyful manual laborer working to build socialism ( so that "dear Leader" Leonid could enjoy his 100 cars or the rotund Kims in N. Korea their tasty treats in the midst of the famine they created )in "celebration" of our labor day. Of course though the widespread well being of working class America is very much the product of political and sometimes physical struggle, it never approached the murderously comprehensive level of Marxist "revolutions" , which only secured the enslavement of all except for party cadre in those countries cursed by its totalitarian advent.
