More Kings, Please!

Friends, in the wake of the latest "No Kings" protests, only one conclusion is possible: a Trumpian monarchy would be infinitely preferable to any "democracy" that empowered the sort of people who attend No Kings rallies.  I jest (or do I?), but they were a sorry bunch.  Good natured, for the most part, but entirely captive to a series of delusions (of the sort spoon-fed to elderly white liberals on certain "news" networks that need not be named).  Ah well.  That's the American way: we're free to trumpet our ignorance to our hearts' content!  Luckily, these protests will have precisely zero impact on the governance of the country, although the midterms are a different story, and the sheer energy the Left is manifesting could be consequential there.

In other news, President Trump is talking openly about limited special operations missions inside Iran, and about seizing control of Kharg Island, which would effectively give the U.S. control over Iran's oil exports.  Of course, arguably U.S. naval dominance already gives us control over, well, everyone's oil exports, to the extent that we choose to exercise said control.  The sooner the Iranians figure this out, the better!  Now, is all this talk of boots on the ground mere gamemanship that is designed to get the Iranians to concede more in negotiations?  Maybe.  Maybe not.  Quite possibly even Trump doesn't know the answer, as yet.

  1. Dr. Waddy from Jack: Eh, Vive le Roi! Le etat c'est Donald I. Vive le dynastie(?) Trump.

I wonder if any in the festive ambience of the "No Kings" "aid and comfort to the enemy " celebration gave any thought to their historically fantastic good fortune. The objects of their touching compassion, latter day Torquemadas, recently gave unmistakeable confirmation of their 7th century view of Iranian domestic dissent. Gee, maybe our country and the military which pays the thousand time levied PRICE of our freedom deserve a little better than these ingrates deign to allow them. I know what they can do (yes, that too): go home and start working on little boats for the use of the soon to be embarked Persian Gulf boat people. ANYTHING will do (and did in '73) as so many of the Aquarian codgers in the "No Kings" ranks fondly recall.

Yes, lets "fundamentally transform " ICE". Let it become" EEE "(Emigration Encouragement and Enablement ) and let the "No Kings" types take full advantage of its services.

  2. Dr. Waddy from Jack: So Jane Fonda regaled the "No Kings" horde. I held my gorge and listened to a barely endurable short excerpt of her "ringing preroration." Well, well , it did settle some hash, yes it did !

First, it dispelled any doubt that this movement has as one of its most exalted purposes aid and comfort to our enemy in time of war and consequent "difficulty" for our Commander in Chief. Why else, pray, honor the very exemplar of that anathema?! I didn't hear her screed being drowned out by the derisive katzenjammer so characteristically rendered by far left worker ants to those who dare to heretically contradict them. Her withered visage and her sand paper voice did betray some pitiable world weariness in this VERY lucky wartime adventurer. Maybe the neomedieval mullahs misogynistically denied her a post at an Iranian missile site aimed at Israel. Aw, too bad.

Second, she summoned the gall to denounce "the divisiveness" , which is, yes , so very evident these days thanks to America insolently recoiling from surrender to domestic Marxist sedition. As I remember, America was quite divided when she, with visible enthusiasm in the "publicity photos", manned a N.Vietnamese antiaircraft battery. Oh the NVA probably didn't suffer Barbarella to touch any of the controls thereof; after all, she's just an actress. But gee, well, some of the country just didn't like it very much. Didn't matter so much I guess; she was a smashing post Vietnam success, unlike many of our troops who molder in their graves now due to the brass she gave NVA General Giap and his merry band of commie murderers.

The "No Kings" movement disgraced itself beyond measure by giving this haughty ingrate a place at their podium.

  3. Dr. Waddy from Jack: My guess (only) is that a canny street player like DJT is playing counterintuitive games with the Jew haters . But I think that as so many (not all) wise asses do, he IS ready to back it up. He has ordered some VERY significant force into the region and my guess is that they have very well informed views of what they might face in amphibious landings on such potentially hostile shores. Our Amphibs learned exceedingly bloody lessons in WWII and I trust they well inform our commanders even now; one of those lessons was to assiduously avoid underestimating the resolve and determination of their opponent. They demonstrated this understanding again after a peaceful interval at Inchon during the Korean War.

Aside maybe from the Russians and Ukrainians just now, our military are probably the best battle tested in the world. Our Special Forces are demonstrably superlative. I'm confident that President Trump understands this and is firmly resolved to use that strength for the benefit of our country and is so very often true of America, the benefit of civilization as we once again confront heartless, ideologically "justified"tyrants.

  4. Dr. Waddy from Jack: So some of the "No KIngs" saints resorted to very VIOLENCE in their irreproachable opposition to a President who unforgivably demonstrates that he KNOWS just what they are and who manipulates them. Well, bless me for a fool, I never whouda thunk it!

But gee, surely if America were to submit to their Aquarian embrace of grimly far left "justice" and wisdom, all violence would be generously renounced and sweet reason would inform all public policy and the vestigial remnants of private life.

So celebrate their beneficial intent as they hurl concrete missiles at law enforcers , yes? After all , under their rule , law enforcement would have a completely opposite cast. There would be no "laws", only the incidental, arbitrary and emotional decrees of "Dear Leader" and his terrified factotums.

  5. Ha! That'll be the day: when the America-hating leftists start fleeing to the warm embrace of the countries they so idolize, like Cuba, Iran, and (formerly) Venezuela, I'll eat my ten gallon hat!

Ick, divisiveness!!! We'll have none of that once the Dems retake power, I'm sure. Well, there might be a slight divide between those who are allowed to have opinions and those who aren't, but it will be easy to overlook, since overlooking will be the only kind of looking still permitted.

Hmm. I do wonder whether the Strait of Hormuz could be opened the old fashioned way: with force. Militarily, I'm sure it could be done, but the question is: when do the shipping and insurance companies man up and actually test the waters, so to speak. It's mostly a question of confidence and perception, and right now the global establishment is positively reveling in anxiety, since they think it wounds Trump, but sooner or later they'll have no choice but to change their tune...or see all their favorite toys grind to a permanent halt.

And the next question would be: deprived of their ability both to export oil and to threaten the Strait, what would the Iranian regime do next? Is it, as some say, getting decidedly wobbly, or might it outlast our (and DJT's) willingness to use force? I continue to believe it's more likely that Trump's talk of ground troops is a bluff, but I certainly don't know for sure, and thus neither do the Iranians. Time will tell.

Naturally, some No Kings protestors did turn violent, but most didn't, and you can rely on the fact that the MSM will downplay any lawlessness, unless it came from counter-demonstrators or police, in which case it's the ONLY story worth telling...
