Friends, President Trump is talking about "winding down" our offensive against Iran, at the same time as U.S. forces continue to pour into the region, threats between Trump and Iran are flying freely, and the regime of the mullahs shows no signs of evaporating. It's hard to know what the future portends, but the economic impacts of the war will only increase with time. A number of countries have signaled their willingness to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz, but only under favorable conditions, whatever those might be. I say: good luck reading all these tea leaves, but listening in to this week's Newsmakers broadcast would certainly boost your global affairs I.Q. by 100% or more!

They would hasten back, mewing for an "understanding " they deny all others ,in their present totalitarian fog.

ReplyDeleteI have a suggestion for him for another beneficial project: construction of " Totalitarianland Park (s)"."Compassionately "abandoned New York prisons could provide an ideal starting point since especially Marxist or Islamist countries are mass prisons after all. The primary purpose would be detox for American "useful idiot" worker ants who think tyranny is just keen when it is motivated by good thoughts such as compulsory human perfection. Staff would be recruited from N.Korean,Cuban and Iranian emigres who have actually lived in paradise. Residence in crumbling communalka apartments with, say , 10 people per ALL purpose room would be mandated. Artificially generated waiting lines for such privileges as food or light bulbs would be a much favored form of recreation. That is because otherwise one would be constrained to join all other yet jubilant manual laborers building socialism in one country. The endless construction of tumbrels to transport the recalcitrant to places of public retribution and permanent correction would be a much favored project. Madame DeFarge reenactors would be stationed at such places. Even all that wouldn't be so bad because one would be serenaded all the while by stentorian broadcasts of the indisputable wisdom of Dear Leader. Inconveniently so , some participants would disappear for a while so that they can be "examined "by firm but "fair" thought police. Exciting and redeeming visits by these paragons in the middle of the night would not be uncommon. Politically redeeming art, VERY generously displayed ,would consist of diverse depictions of Dear Leader "relating" to "the people" and granting them the favor of his irrefutable wisdom and justice. A panel of sage America haters would be available to render the benefit of their , well, hate, for their country. A pantheon of the ever increasing numbers of passed Vietnam war "Ho, Ho, Ho Chi Minh" chanters, graced by the sculptured visage of Ho himself , would be a destination for reverent pilgrimages. Under construction by jubilant laborers would be a new pantheon for departed Iranian "authoritarians" and of course, Jew haters, who are seemingly "influential" in all dictatorships.
Admission to this "park" would be encouraged by proselytizers promising comprehensive justice in this setting but once admitted one would not be allowed easy egress; that would come at considerable physical discomfort and material confiscation.
Some people have to be cured of addictive craving for drugs. Useful idiots may require similar treatment to disabuse them of their dreamy but destructive "convictions" . Maturity of course works too.
Dr. Waddy from Jack: I saw a sour visaged worker ant at one of yesterday's swarms brandishing a sign saying "send ICE to Iran". To the best of my knowledge Iran is not experiencing illegal immigration concerns and I doubt they would seek our advice on such matters at any rate.
ReplyDeleteWe enjoy generally free speech in the U.S. but our society does widely recognize and denounce certain expressions which are socially intolerable and earn for those who expectorate them deserved opprobrium. To wish such onerous exile upon a dutiful law enforcement agency , especially one which endures much organized domestic castigation, is intensely vicious and far beneath the most withering of contempt. That she was allowed the attention getting power of her fellows in hate is shameful beyond measure.

On line under "Churchill Funeral, 'I Vow to Thee My Country' " is a stirring 6 minute video , enhanced by that noble hymn, in which the perhaps most moving moment in that magnificent pageantry is when the funeral barge passes the docks downriver of Tower Bridge and they dip their cranes in salute to him. Nonpareil!!
