Friends, it's Valentine's Day, and that means that naturally I got you something special!!! No, it's not flowers or a box of chocolates. It's winter, so all the flowers are dead, and I can assure you that I ate all the chocolates. Instead, this V-Day you're getting...my latest Newsmakers interview! Oh boy! What a treat. Brian and I discuss who the protesters are in places like Minneapolis and what motivates them, the reticence of the younger generation on political controversies, the mass firing of Washington Post reporters, the unique poisiton of Rand Paul in the U.S. Senate, the propriety of the Department of War's campaign against drug boats coming to America, the prospects for the SAVE Act, the benefits (and costs) of cracking down on illegal immigration, the pros and cons of tariffs against Canada, the ongoing strength of the U.S. economy, and the relevance of the mainstream and alternative media to public opinion. Dr. Waddy from Jack: I like the the card. Those two hombres are the far left/Dems worst nightmare. They fully deserve the upset those two visit on them. They arrogated in the 60s that western civilization's progress was not progress at all . Consequently, all its painfully evolved verities had, for justice's sake, to be very forcefully negated and replaced by unproven dreams. Gotta admit, they have been faithful to this monumentally presumptuously wrong headed , frivolously unsettling humbug. BUT: among other factors, they are facing, in the persons of such fortitude as Trump and Homan, an indefatigible determination to stand against them. I don't think they have the grit and the substance to face it down. Their ideological base is AIR!
