The System Works!

Friends, hearty congrats to Dear Leader Kim Jong Un, who today was reelected as the head of North Korea's Workers' Party!  Many analysts were on tenterhooks in the lead-up to this highly competitive contest, so it's a relief to see the DPRK (re)embrace time-tested leadership.  No doubt Kim's chosen successor, his 13 year old daughter, will prove even more statesmanlike...  If only we had visionary rulers of equally high quality here in the USA!

In much less important news, the U.S. men's ice hockey team today won the gold medal over bitter rival Canada.  This is the first gold medal for the U.S. in hockey since 1980, and that was a humdinger of a contest, as we all know.  Will Canada finally show us a little respect???  Don't count on it.  Those Canucks are incorrigible.

  1. Dr. Waddy from Jack: What thunderous blasphemy you direct at the N. Korean workers' paradise's Dear Leader. Why he has deigned to preempt his gustatory delights to redeem Marxism from its recent "setbacks " in Russia and China and. . . . . . . . . . . .

For those who will but look it is obvious! He has in the temporarily limited setting of his realm, commanded no less than the perfection predicted by Marx of all who embrace his inarguable truths. You don't hear any of his subjects complaining do you? Oh some disgruntled emigres have hinted at imperfection but are as discreditable as to be ignored by all of just convictions.

Why, because of him a sainted vanguard has already pioneered living in the final and permanent future! And you dare to direct sarcasm his way?!

  2. Dr. Waddy from Jack: I dunno: the eastern Canadians with whom we have the most contact have empowered some leftists we would find unpalatable. But they are not pushy about it and for the most part they remain friends of the U.S.

But our President has perhaps inadvisedly provoked them. I don't watch the game; did it manifest any consequent resentment on the part of the Canadians?

It is a remarkable achievement to beat the Canadians at their own time honored game and is worthily celebrated as such but I'd suggest that maybe we not let it go any further than that. Canadians are, in my experience growing up just across the river from them, pretty good folks.

  3. Dr. Waddy from Jack: Ahh but we DO have Promethean visionaries in the exalted mold of Dear Leader right here in our oppressed land. They yearn to bless us with their unimpeachable wisdom and justice and they would do, well, just anything to be afforded an "opportunity" to redeem our erring land! Why, look how very hard they have striven so since the time of their '60s "awakening until now. They are loath to abandon us in our misery.

They will hold forth at the State of the Union Address tonight in courageously principled defiance of the capitalist gangster, one Trump. All power to them and to "the people" for whom they have only the proven best of intentions . Be of good cheer Dr. Waddy ; we have only to stretch forth our welcoming hands and they will guide us to earthly perfection.

  4. Dr. Waddy from Jack: Well, the State of the Union address is tonight and I'm looking forward to it. Fox reports that some 50 far left /Dem Congressional "representatives" will recoil from the emotional trauma of public contradiction by a pariah so insolently dismissive of their unimpeachable convictions. We all know by now how very , very much they embrace the wisdom imparted to them by their starry "feelings"! Good riddance!

Meanwhile some 200 of the "elect" will condescend to grace us with their august and vindictive presence at this blasphemous carnival of alleged "neonazi" gloat. Some have declared their gallant intention of showing up all dressed in "pure" white, so as to present an avenging horde of undoubted virtue. "Now by all the gods that Romans bow down to "(Shakespeare) oh do shield me , I pray humbly , when I say such raiment may smack of cynical misrepresentation. Would that the myriad souls of unborn children denied life itself by the earnest efforts of these harridans were present at their "righteous" celebration of contempt for any who doubt them.

A passionate (how else?) spokes "person "for these apparently unperceivingly counterintuitive erstwhile champions of "white" declared that our President will be confronted with a veritable sea of white to his right (ha!) of "those he does not see". Oh he sees them; he has always done so. Its one of the main reasons he entered the miasmic arena of an American polity so very cursed by doctrinally blinded Marxist presumption against the most liveable country ever.

  6. Sarcasm? What sarcasm? As you say, there's nary a critic or naysayer in the whole of North Korea. I mean, if that doesn't prove Kim's excellence, I don't know what would...

Jack, I didn't watch the game either. I'm usually fast asleep at 8 am, like all voluptuaries...

I'm looking forward to the SOTU too! Should be a redeeming spectacle. I'm glad the worst of the worst on the Democratic side are absenting themselves, and if the rest of them want to wear the (rather apt) uniform of asylum inmates, I say let 'em!

  7. Dr. Waddy from Jack: Yes! And red stars would be most decorative and definitive additions to such uniformity.
