Dr. Waddy: Ditto to the max!.Had he not been foreign born Musk would be a very credible prospective President . He is in many ways a Promethean figure. President Trump has affirmed that a successful business leader can be a fine President.
ReplyDeleteKnowing Musk is bringing his affirmative support to the GOP midterm effort: his nonpareil organizational skills, proven foresight , financial power and his formidible personal example , is very encouraging. He could well make a decisive difference.
Looks like we may have a new star rising for common sense , anti radical America: Congressman Byron Donalds of Florida. One would think him now the favorite for the Governorship of that critical and exemplary state. A successful tenure in that office could well make him a strong candidate for the '28 ticket.

ReplyDeleteOh, I hold Musk in the highest regard too, but, like DJT, he has a bad and chronic case of foot-in-mouth disease. But hey, that hasn't stopped Trump from winning two (three?) presidential elections, so maybe ole Elon would have a chance, IF he were a native son of these United States.
ReplyDeleteDr. Waddy: I think a perhaps decisive number of DJT supporters like the way he so often gets to the heart of the matter , recklessly at times but frankly. They find it a welcome contrast to the slickness of so many public figures or the perpetual and definitive scolding and sneering rendered by such as Charles Schumer and just about every commentator on MSNBC. One of my friends in Pennsylvania's God's country northern mountains said it best: "he says what I want to say". Most of us are not practiced or polished when we speak out. And as you said , he's made his rough edges work for him.
