Forty More Years! Forty More Years!

Friends, DJT has reacted with enthusiasm to the idea that he could run for a third term...and I say why not!?!!  In fact, let's tack on nine more terms to that, bringing us to 2069!  Sure, Trump's body may be mostly synthetic by then, but who cares?  The timeless principles of Trumpism would still apply.  Of course, I say all this in jest.  While I wouldn't object to four more years for Orange Man Good, I'm rather looking forward to President Vance.  I feel like he could drive most lefties definitively over the edge and either into exile or into one big open air insane asylum...

In other news, El Presidente Javier Milei of Argentina has won a surprise victory in Congressional elections, meaning that his free market-oriented reform program will continue, as will Argentina's warm relations with the U.S.  Let this be a lesson to you, Latin Americans: cozy up to Trump, and there's no end to the prosperity you can enjoy.  Cross Trump, on the other hand, and pretty soon your yacht will be fodder for anti-ship missiles...  Just sayin'.

Finally, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to believe that this election analysis is true, and the GOP has a shot at upset wins in the gubernatorial races in Virginia and New Jersey.  Winning just one of these races would be a body blow to the Dems, and that sounds like ample reason to work as hard as possible to ensure it happens.

  1. Dr. Waddy from Jack: President Trump is a vintage street wise NYC wiseass and you have ta luv it. He knows just how to jerk these far leftists' chains and who can blame him for having a little fun with it !? After what they put him and America through during the infamous interim '21 - '25?Gimme a break.

No ,he knows just where to poke them: their unconquerable self righteousness and their oh so "compassionate" sensitivity and the runaway emotions which govern them. He's playing them like a trout on a line with this musing about a third term. Of course its impossible. Its as impossible as is a Trump dictatorship in this term. Whether or not the grimly determined America haters actually believe their hyperbole about him, they have used it to flim flam millions , many of whom are of good will.

Its grotesquely interesting to speculate on the negativity they will spew when our President sends massive aid to Jamaica. Aircraft carriers can generate a lot of electrical power and we have the ability to move a lot of Drs. and Nurses and beds there with haste. But the left will find a way to hate this characteristic manifestation of American compassion.

  2. Dr. Waddy from Jack: Churchill once said (I think after the British victory at El Alamein) : "this is not the end, it is not even the beginning of the end but it may be the end of the beginning". It would be easy to say that next week's election means little outside of NYC and its NY state fief but perhaps if we fare well next week this can be the end of the beginning of the astonishing comeback of common sense administration and the decisive effort to redeem America can commence. If the Dems are thwarted in as much as a dog catcher's race they will fly into high dudgeon and start setting off fire alarms. All that much the better to reveal them for the emotionally captured extremists they are.

If they lose this shutdown confrontation their frustration would also be unendurable for them. Schumer and Pelosi and Co. would be finished and their"fundamental transformation" to "democratic" socialism would be realized. And that would send them down the slippery slope to the political gutter where they belong.

  3. Dr. Waddy from Jack: I agree, JD is our most promising prospect for continuing the Trumpian restoration of common sense and Americanism. Should he ascend the dems would probably achieve a critical mass of despair and go nuclear, leaving only a vast crater of shame and imperious contempt for the American institution their party once was before they were cuckooed starting with the Clintons.

Newsom has been getting attention lately as his brief and cynically disingenuous flirtation with common sense statements (eg. "oh yes, I agree that it is unfair that biological men compete in womens' sports) evolves into a "oh yes, I'm a democratic socialist (minus the caps) but then again not quite! His latest virtue signal in response to being asked if he is a candidate is "Oh, my only interest is in a 'fair' election". Oh my, how, well . . . fair, of him. Just like his support for reparations at the expense of those who had no responsibility for slavery and mostly no say in Jim Crow.

I would love to see JD dismantle this preening cock and wipe that snide grin off his face. It would be America against dominant California (but not that harried common sense minority in that far left oppressed state) and JD represents us well: "He says what I want to say" and he is a loyal Lieutenant to our great President.

  4. Dr. Waddy from Jack: It appears to me that Argentinian President Milieu is an advocate of common sense, as is our President.

What the hell are "Peronists"for anyway? All I know is that Peron was a voluptuary epauleted "El Jefe" who promised the "shirtless ones" all manner of "justice" and delivered nada. The incompetence of his various successors (including briefly himself)was proven in their laughable effort to force the Brits to give up the Falklands.

President Trump is facing down a 60 year far leftist campaign to force economic and political insanity on the U.S. His thus well informed support for this courageous Argentine could help yield redemption of most of Latin America from the Marxist threat manifested in Venezuela, Brazil and Colombia, if a sensibly oriented Argentinian economy provides material well being. Remember how we reacted to a communist base in Cuba, back when Marxist contamination of America was unheard of beyond Greenwich Village and few "safe houses" in "university" settings ?

  6. Dr. Waddy from Jack: If we bring down Maduro, which we are justified in doing because of his export of fentanyl to the U.S. and that courageous woman does a Lech Walesa in Venezuela and common sense succeeds in Argentina, maybe we have possible another "containment policy "to keep Marxism from subjugating all of Latin America with its cynical, always betrayed, promises of "justice and prosperity".

How solid do you think the leftist Brazilian regime is? How vulnerable is Mexico, I wonder. Ironically, its terribly powerful cartels might be its best defense against Marxist takeover (?). Organized, hardcore , beyond murderous criminals sneer at erratic and idealistic political extremists although the far left does pusillanimously harbor much faith in criminals as a "revolutionary class". Its true that when commie or nazi thugs do take over they extirpate your garden variety street criminal foot soldiers. Its easy to do in countries where the accused have no rights. "Und't now I haff no use of you !"Hitler once exclaimed to a doomed faction in the Reichstag. And that is what totalitarians do to any domestic institution which opposes them . To prevent such a dolorous fate the Mexican cartels might well stand firm against a far more murderous Marxist mob.

  7. So you're saying Trump is about to invade Jamaica? Neat! Its denizens might welcome recolonization, right about now...

Oh, I wouldn't assume that the Dem hierarchy will be discredited if they "lose" the shutdown. Probably they will ensure that they have a fig leaf or two to hide behind. I mean, if a second term for Trump doesn't dislodge these people, what would???

Jack, I'd prefer that someone like Kamala Harris wipe the smug grin off Newsom's face. I'd much prefer her as a Dem standard-bearer. Do it, Dems! Do it! I mean, a black woman couldn't possibly lose TWO presidential elections, right? God(dess) surely wouldn't allow it.

Peronists are socialists, as I understand it, although they may have started out as crypto-fascists, but then many fascists were also socialists, kinda sorta.

I would guess that overthrowing the leftist regimes in Mexico and Brazil would be very tough, and dislodging them via the ballot box might be equally difficult, given that they can and will game the system. Trump can keep these leftists halfway honest, though, simply because neither country can afford to lose access to the U.S. market. Colombia and Brazil have elections coming up in 2026, and in both cases IF the elections are fair the right has a good chance of winning.
