Love Letters from AOC

Friends, AOC may be an idiot, but she sure is a lot easier on the eyes than, say, Diane Feinstein.  Let's give credit where credit is due.

Well, the A.P. is excited because AOC has "endorsed" Joe Biden for reelection, "sending a strong signal of Democratic unity".  Aww.  How sweet!  Problem is, if you read what AOC actually says about Biden, it's more of an "ehh" than an accolade.  To quote from the article:

Ocasio, when asked about whether she’d support Biden, said: “I believe, given that field, yes.”

Wow!  What a ringing endorsement, huh?  AOC prefers Sleepy Joe over Marianne Williamson and RFK, Jr.  No kidding!  Of course she does.  The question is: would she stick with Biden if a "real" progressive alternative got into the race?  Don't bet on it.  You have to hand it to the Associated Press, though.  They really know how to put lipstick on a pig.

In other news, some explosive accusations are being made about the Bidens and about the DOJ/FBI coverup that's been (allegedly) mobilized on their behalf.  Can any of this be proven?  I dunno.  Does it matter?  I'm pretty sure it doesn't, because the mainstream media would never cover it in a million years, except to drag the Bidens' accusers through the mud.  Now, if the Dems ever decide to cut the Bidens loose, then I'd say the whole family could be in for a rough ride...

Finally, we talked earlier in the week about high housing prices.  This article updates that storyline by describing how home prices are actually easing (slightly), but, because of higher interest rates, mortgage bills are WAY WAY up!  Bottom line: the median monthly payment is now $2,165.  Just two years ago it was $1,321!!!  Ouch.  Talk about Bidenflation...

  2. Dr.Waddy from Jack: All that pent up hatred will necessarily seek an outlet beyond her present unendurable subordination.

  3. Dr.Waddy frm Jack:Her determination to find that vent for her consumate antipathy to America is obvious from her Senatorial aspirations and with compromised NY's support she might make it.

  4. Jack/Ray -- I see AOC as more ridiculous than ruthless, but I'm sure a lot of leftists would have said the same thing about Donald Trump before the evening of November 8, 2016. To become president, at some stage she'd need to break out of the confines of the House of Representatives. She's flirted with running for higher office, but never pulled the trigger. Thus, I question her seriousness.

AOC a female Che Guevara? She doesn't even have the grit to be Che's mistress. She's a limousine liberal, if there ever was one.

  5. Dr. Waddy from Jack: Well, bless me for a fool but I think just maybe AP WANTS aoc to unite the dems, yah... behind her! Now AP is an old line news association and if its gone antiamerica then that's another at least ancillary institution cuckooed by the cultural marxists. AP - "american poltroons".

  6. Dr.Waddy et al from Jack: I dunno: where would she get a limousine; she was a bartender and is risen from, dah diddy dah. . . the PEOPLE and was born politically correct. Obama went from "community organizer", to state legislator, to a brief stop in the Senate, to . . . . But "che oc"? Could be, I'm sure she is of his marxist ilk with all that history proves that to be.But she smacks of another brand of '30s demagogue.

  7. Dr.Waddy from Jack: I do think she presents a plausible prospect of inspiring and leading a political assault on American democracy. Our country is as infected with amoral cultural marxist dissemblance as to be very vulnerable.

  8. Dr. Waddy from Jack: Housing prices: meanwhile of course the antiamericans blithely do all they can to drive them up by mandating dreamily conjured solutions to an unproven problem;aint that so Al ( (Gore that is)? Eg. the onslaught on natural gas, which is as a common sense , abundant compromise, unthinkable to the perfectionist left.

  9. Jack, what do you mean "if" the A.P. has gone Marxist??? I don't think there's any flicker of a doubt about what side they're on... I'm amazed that any conservative news outlet would touch the garbage they churn out.

Jack, AOC has an interesting background. She didn't exactly emerge from the hood, but, more accurately, from the upper middle class. My guess is that four years at Boston University imbued her with the "democratic socialist" ideology (and "anti-racist" grievances) beloved of the progressive intelligencia. From there, her youth and good looks gave her a leg up, and, before you know it, she's a Congresswoman! How much danger does she pose in the long-term? That's hard to say, but, as you point out, it's the susceptibility of the American people to neo-Marxist drivel that's the real problem. AOC is just packaging.
