Coming Apart At The Seams?

Friends, remember when Donald Trump was president and we didn't get involved in a single new war or overseas intervention?  Oh, those were happy days!  Well, now Ukraine is an inferno, and Iran has launched unprecedented airstrikes against Israel, and the world is holding its breath hoping that things don't deteriorate even further.  The worst case scenario, as described in this article, is that Israel would retaliate against Iran, and then Iran would try to close the Persian Gulf to tanker traffic, and possibly even try to drag U.S. forces into the conflict.  There's little prospect that Iran could win a war against Israel, much less the United States, but it could do terrible damage to the region and to the world economy all the same.  One has to ask the question: why, when the Biden Administration is dangling the possibility of normalized relations, is Iran pursuing such an aggressive approach towards Israel, which is, let's face it, a U.S. proxy and the unofficial 51st state?  What's Iran's endgame here?  Presumably, Russia and Iran's willingness to challenge states backed by the U.S. indicates, at a minimum, a lack of regard for the deterrent threat posed by the Biden regime and its trans-infused, ultra-woke military forces.  No doubt Biden and Co. will find some way of blaming this international chaos on Trump...but it'll take some creative thinking, no?

You know very well who is behind this chaos encircling our planet. It should be very clear to you by now (unless you are an absolute dingbat), that the real culprit being naughty is none other than SPECTRE "Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion" which is most certainly not headed by Trump or Biden, both of whom are entirely too inept to even imagine running it.

  2. Ray, last I heard SPECTRE had gone legit and had transformed itself into the Chamber of Commerce, the National Education Association, and the ABA, the AMA, the ASPCA, the AAA. I could go on. To put it another way, the wackos are no longer plotting in basements. They're running the show. So you can relax, in short. SPECTRE has gone mainstream, and I can't think of a single thing that could go wrong now that the "right people" are in charge.

Shit! I always felt that Bond would fail in the end. Looks like he was working for SPECTRE all along. Those assholes have probably infiltrated The Society for The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Shit! What next?

  3. Dr. Waddy from Jack: Fox had a very well spoken expert on Iran on; he he said that Iran's long term strategy is to inflict a drawn out "death of a thousand cuts" on Israel by relentless terrorist harrying of Israel mainly by Iran's clients. Apparently Iran sees this aerial blitzkreig as a targeted payback for Israel's insolence (antisemites are incensed whenever Jews fight back)in eliminating some Generals after all devoted to Israel's extermination. I mean, we hanged Nazi Generals Keitel and Jodl. They hope to someday see an exhausted Israel simply give up and embark on a new diaspora (the survivors that is). Israel did display restraint during Desert Storm when Iraq "Scudded" them with archaic Soviet missiles incapable of hitting within leagues of their targets. I would predict of Israel a well thought out response. I'm glad we shot down some of those missiles; its good practice for our forces and its very objective support for the noble Jewish state.

Iran's been pissed off at the U.S. since 1979, so expect more of their bullshit in the future. Israel already knows what to expect from them.
Had Jimmy Carter acted decisively when Iran invaded our Tehran embassy in 1979 (an act of war), and bombed the complete shit out of Iran, this crap that is coming out of them now what not exist, or at least not nearly as much. Since then, especially under Obama, all the U.S. has been doing is kissing Iran's ass. What do you expect from such a weak minded bunch of dip shits running our foreign policy?

  5. Ray from Jack: Sometimes I wonder what these neomedieval potentates in Iran are thinking. They think THEY have grievances? They simply cannot comprehend the fundamental truth that the Holocaust was a watershed moment for Judaism. This high civilization, which had patiently endured the scorn and oppression visited upon it by far inferior cultures for millennia, simply vowed "never again". And they meant it! That form of Islam which murderously begrudges Israel even their miniscule littoral, for which Israel does have historical heritage, cannot protest injustice equal to that which Judaism and Israel yet face with such redeeming courage and resolution. Lacking such terrible justification and nonetheless openly and nonetheless expressly devoted to the extirpation of Israel (would they plow Tel Aviv under and sow salt as the Romans did to Carthage? They think. . . !) Iran will never break Israel. American fellowship with Israel is a measure of our civilization, nothing less.

  6. Hmm. If that's Iran's master plan, it's a terrible plan. Launching pinprick attacks and then getting hammered over the head yourself doesn't sound very strategic. Plus, the more aggressive Iran is, the more the Israeli people unite against them, and the more the West unites in support of Israel. My guess would be that the Iranian leadership is so deep in its own rabbit hole that it has lost all sense of reason, or it's so worried about its own survival that it feels an Islamic crusade against Israel (even a farcical one) is the only way to prop it up.

Ray, in my view, we never should have permitted the Chicoms to take power, and we never should have permitted the mullahs to overthrow the Shah either. Easy for me to say, of course...

Agreed: Iran will never break Israel. I wouldn't rule out the possibility that Israel will break Israel, however. That country has plenty of problems.
