The Tulsification of the GOP?

Friends, this A.I.-generated image of Tulsi Gabbard says it all.  She's heroic, for sure, but is she blue, or is she red?  Well, she's purple, or rather...ambiguous.  She's whatever you want or need her to be!  My latest article considers her future, and specifically a variety of paths that she could take in 2024.  See what you think!

In other news, Elon Musk is suing OpenAI, trying to force the company to be true to its non-profit, altruistic founding vision.  Musk claims that OpenAI has been seduced by Microsoft and is no longer trying to "benefit humanity".  You may scoff, but it matters a great deal who steers the evolution of AI, and for what general purpose.  I hope Musk gets his way, because it would be nice to see the world of AI stay as transparent and as widely accessible and as democratic as possible.

  1. Dr. Waddy from Jack: Count me as one Maga who looks on Fox this way: to quote my wonderful friend in the north central PA mountain country "they say what I want to say". If she floats Fox's boat, I like her even more, though still with reservations. You have summarized both the reasons she is a legitimate prospect for top leadership and the reasons why we must be cautious. I would add: I think DJT's success in office strongly supports the view that she has enough experience to be a formidable executive. Again, her excoriation by the anti American left may foster in such a strong personality increasing resolve to return it with interest and grim determination. Perhaps her progress through our polity has led her to conclude that some of the typical dem positions she took were integral parts of the antiamerican left's
openly obvious totalitarian intent. Many on the antiamerican left are cowardly bullies and it ain't smart to be that way with an hombre like her.

Having a Hindu for president sounds real exciting.

  3. Jack, I agree that Tulsi is a formidable woman and probably has plenty of relevant experience, as far as being Vice-President goes. She would learn quickly what she doesn't yet know. Is she a genuine conservative? Not so long ago we were asking that question about Trump! Some still are. The fact is, though, that when the Left excoriates you ten thousand times a day, you tend to gravitate to the right. Funny that!

Ray is right: it's about time we Americans gave Hinduism a chance. If one God lets you down, why not try several at once?
