Friends, in the unlikely event that President Trump were to lose the 2020 election, and Sleepy Joe became President Biden, there are rumors to the effect that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo could become Attorney General. Personally, I doubt it, mainly because Cuomo is a legendary horse's ass, and thus, if I were Biden, I wouldn't want such a prima donna in my cabinet, and certainly not in an important role like Attorney General. Nonetheless, Cuomo is a "centrist" (believe it or not), so choosing him wouldn't be out of step with Biden's overall philosophy. We'll see.
Coincidentally, Governor Cuomo has also been freshly accused of sexual harassment! How about that? It ain't easy being a Democrat: the purity tests never stop, and you're always one false move (especially if you're a white male) from annihilation. Will this story stick? Who knows. Is there any truth to it? I haven't the foggiest.
Dr. Waddy, I doubt Cuomo is going anywhere. Being governor of New York is a much higher profile for him. Plus, either Doug Jones or Sally Yates is more likely to get it.

ReplyDeleteAs far as the Demo(Socialists) are concerned, Trump has already lost the election. He has never been a legitimate president to them since 2016.
No doubt the 2020 elections were rigged and there was fraud. However, the reality is that Biden has already been declared the winner by the media. Biden celebrated his victory and is in the process of selecting the cabinet who will fleece The American people even more than they have already been fleeced in a different way.
REALITY says that Biden will be proclaimed the winner. However, to millions of Americans he will become an illegitimate president as Trump was to millions of others. In addition, even if Trump was declared the winner, people who should no better, live in fear that there would then be a hot civil war in this country.
As it stands, even many Republicans are probably ready to kiss Biden's ass as much as they dis Trump's in the last four years. Many RINOs in my opinion have been bribed or threatened, and if not at least think they will go with whoever can provide butter for their bread.
Regrettably, many on the right will not do the right thing because they are moral cowards.
Dr.Waddy from Jack: Yes, we in occupied NY state would be glad to be rid of El Jefe! But it's hard to imagine him tolerating subordination to anyone!

I dunno, Rod. Attorney General is a pretty nice gig, and would Cuomo really want to stay NY Governor forever...especially as our finances collapse in a heap? I think he'd go for it. Plus, if you're planning to institute a Marxist dictatorship, the DOJ will be key to the process. Someone has to throw all us deplorables in the clink, right?
ReplyDeleteRay, we agree that, if Biden becomes president, many will say he's illegitimate. Leaving aside questions about fraud, how legitimate will a president be when the media had to conceal his infirmities AND his corruption in order to nudge him over the finish line? A compliant media is incompatible with free and fair elections, period.
Jack, you have a point there. Cuomo may prefer to keep his cards close to the vest and run in 2024, when he might assume the field would be wide open (Kam Kam being a lightweight). Could be.
Dr. Waddy from Jack: Cuomo exemplifies coastal loathing for the real America and we are fully cognizant of that, as he makes no secret of it. In turn, we loathe him and would be much motivated by revulsion very similar to that which we felt for Hillary.
ReplyDeleteDr. Waddy from Jack:But he would be an appropriate choice. We know for certain that under the Dems DOJ will once again become the Inquisition for Political Correctness but this with a simmering vindictiveness after four years of raging heresy. Cuomo's exuberant bigotry and essential totalitarianism is ideal for this setting.
ReplyDeleteDr. Waddy from Jack: "are ideal. . .". Cuomo may even harbor a grudging respect for Tom Reed's chances. Tom is very good at playing dismissively arrogant leftists like fish on a line.
ReplyDeleteWell said, Jack! I agree: Cuomo would fit the role nicely. He's pretentious, sanctimonious, pedantic, and cunning -- exactly what the Left would want in a Lawyer-in-Chief.
ReplyDeleteI don't know that I would rate Tom Reed's chances all that highly, but if he was facing Kathy Hochul those chances would certainly rise. I really do think our state is on the precipice of major economic and fiscal problems too. That can only help the GOP.
Dr. Waddy. Doug Jones is the odds-on favorite to be AG. If there is going to be a white AG, it will be Jones, or Merrick Garland. Cuomo knows a good thing when he has it, so he will stay as NY governor.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you're right, Rod. Honestly, if I were Cuomo, I'd be looking for an escape hatch right now!
