Friends, the new year is starting off on a sour note, as "Lula", the corrupt Marxist huckster, is sworn in as Brazil's president (again). Is he a Bolshevik scumbag? Sure...but he hates all the right people, so all is forgiven. Poor Brazil. As Bolsonaro says, "Battles are lost, but we will not lose the war." I hope he's right.

In closely related news, human composting -- that is, turning your deceased loved ones into soil -- is now legal in my home state of New York. It's supposedly kinder to the environment, which I know will be a big concern to me when I'm pushing up daisies... Now, if only we could convince the lefties that dying sooner rather than later is the ultimate form of progressive virtue-signaling... I'd say we're halfway there!
Dr.Waddy from Jack: That is a hilariously ghoulish thought, your modest proposal! Reductio ad absurdum in a rough sense. It would be handy as a riposte to a fevered defense of human composting from a left driven even unto roaring by being doubted. I wonder what Organic Gardening magazine thinks of this?
ReplyDeleteDr.Waddy from Jack: Given the leftist penchant for the convenient use of euphemisms ( eg. "fetal tissue", "affirmative action"), "composting" could be used by a totalitarian regime as a positive term and justification for the extensive capital punishment of dissent it would no doubt practice. " 'So and so', an inveterate enemy of progress, nonetheless did the people service by being involuntarily composted. "
ReplyDeleteDr. Waddy from Jack: Yes, I've got it! The left is blithe to use the relatively banal term abort to describe the scalding, dismembering, head crushing dispatch of unborn humans. I could see a leftist regime announcing the composting of a dissident with the unexpressed understanding that death is essential to composting. The left in power has shown itself capable of subhumanity limited only by its imagination.
ReplyDeleteYou're making a lot of sense here, Jack. Yes, a few good euphemisms can brighten up almost any crime against humanity... Why not subject conservatives to "patriotism affirming care"? Rearrange a few lobes in our brains and -- presto! -- our carping ceases.
ReplyDeleteDr.Waddy from Jack: Excellent, excellent!
